Introducing the X1S Pharos 2025. We’ve refined our popular pocket thrower with new body color options, an updated magnetic tail-cap, and Gaggione LLC25N TIR optics for a smooth, versatile beam.
Paired with unparalleled Lume X1 high-efficiency boost driver electronics, this is your outdoor pocket companion.
Aluminum OP Reflector Version
The X1S is now available in an OP-reflector version: X1S Pharos 2025 (Reflector Version) – Firefly outdoor
FFL5009 Emitter Option
For the X1S 2025, we are introducing the FFL5009R, a new 5050-sized high-intensity emitter. This is a high-performance quad-die emitter with the same high CRI (~95) you expect with FFL emitters. The FFL5009 is designed to have high R9 values while being close to neutral for a balanced, beautiful color rendering.
Hi Ivy, something you may not know - Norton 360 is actively blocking your website as being malicious. I’ve submitted multiple false positive reports to them over a couple of weeks- but it didn’t get your site cleared. In the end (last week) I had to create an ignore rule to access it.
Oh, and I love my original X1S with a 4000k XHP50 Hi. (Although I did end up fitting a wider spread TIR into it.)
@Fireflylite-Ivy I like that flashlight, specially the reflector option. Are its optics user-swappable once they leave the factory, or can they only be configured at purchase time? I ask because I see you sell the reflector separately, and was wondering whether I could buy the TIR version plus a spare reflector (or the reverse, buy the reflector version plus spare TIRs) and then swap the optics back and forth myself for experimentation
One other thing is its USB port: does it support powerbank functionality aka reverse-charging, aka “OTG” as you seem to have called it on the X4 Stellar? The fact that most/all your flashlights don’t seem to support it is a major reason I don’t own more of them.
There’s a discrepancy between the light intensity/throw distance numbers in the 232|500x500 download. The light intensity in lux is double what the throw distance in meters should be. Is the throw distance in meters right?
FFL should really consider adding powerbank/reverse charging functionality to all your lights, they already have the port and the USB charger chip with that functionality costs pennies more than one without.
Does look to be swappable, though there is a caveat if choosing the FFL7070 emitter that the aluminium reflector may produce slight artifacts.
I’m kind of tempted to go for one. I have an Acebeam E75 that is comparable for size and usage, but I just can’t get on with cycling through lo, med, med/high, high.
I’ve got the original X1S Pharos with the XHP50.3 HI and TIR. The bezel isn’t glued and I swapped in a different TIR. The set up is the same as you’d use for a reflector- the TIR is even shaped like a reflector, and the LED has a gasket around it already too. So it would be dead easy to swap TIR’s (which I’ve done- with a Carclo Ledil Olga M TIR) or fit a reflector.
When I bought mine, they were only supplying them with the one very narrow spot Gaggione TIR. Now it seems they’re supplying two. The Carclo Ledil Olga M TIR is slightly smaller in diameter but works perfectly- and it was easy to source. I’ve been thinking about getting the reflector and the second wider spread Gaggione TIR from them, but freight costs are probably going to kill that idea. Plus, I could more than likely find a suitable reflector from other sources- given I know the dimensions required.
I like the X1-S, it is probably the best finished flashlight I’ve got. (And I’ve got some Emisar flashlights.)
Nice! I have exactly that but the reflector version on its way to me now. I was going to add the TIR but I decided I didn’t want another TIR light.
Yes, you can buy the aluminium refector separately as it’s built to house exactly that emitter perfectly. Maybe you’re like me and forget stuff with the excitement of checkout, but wondering why you didn’t add one?
Shipping minimum is $20 purchase to UK, so I did remember to add a lantern base for the NOV-Mu while I was shopping this time. It gets knocked pretty easily without being magnetized to anything.
@Fireflylite-Ivy Is the Ember Red colour listed for the Pharos the same anodising as the Wine Red listed for the NOV-MU v2? I bought my Pharos in blue, which is fine, but the Wine Red of the NOV-Mu really is a nice deep colour. Be handy to know for people who may want a colour match across their collection?
So happy to see this new FFL5009R 1800k and latest batch of 707A 1800k is less rosy than the previous batches of FFL 1800k emitters. For 1800k candle light / flame simulator, we want as close to BBL as possible. Overly rosy is no good so this is great improvement!!!
