Flashlights in movies

Bingo! You got it! Now, if guys like us can ’get’ that, why can’t the manufacturers? :person_facepalming:

No screen cap as I was at a friends place, season 2 of Daredevil has the Punisher using a G700 :person_facepalming:

Edit- for those with Netflix it is the season finale at 13.35, as Shane Frank lowers his hand you can almost read what it says on the tube and can clearly see the other markings on the head. For a G700 it looks to have quite a nice tint, I wonder if they modified the light or fixed it postproduction, surely they can’t have won the tint lottery.

I am looking forward to the Punisher series, hope they don’t bork it.

The Punisher will be the next guy we see hawking those lights on TV ads.

Bet he could really sell the self-defense aspect of it.

why no shadow hawk / lumitact in movies? lol

…um, two posts above yours. :stuck_out_tongue:

The Walking Dead S07E15… no idea what lantern it is though…

The Klarus is loooong forgotten in 2052. However, I would not be surprised if they still sell incandescent Maglites then.

It's spreading like the t-Virus!!

It sure looks like a Rayovac Sportsman LED Lantern.

Anyone watching the “new” Macgyver?

This flashlight can do some cool tricks

Wow, that show is cringy

Good Behavior S02E02: Fenix TK41

including a continuity error : a second later in the wide shot the light (in front of his hand) is standing on its head.

Bonus: a Kershaw knife (not sure which one) a few seconds later

I own one of those!

(That narrows it down a little.)

...

It's a Kershaw Scrambler 3890.

He’s probably a budding flashlight enthusiast, couldn’t resist checking it out!

Looks like a Maxabeam. Also used in X Files, and a whole bunch of other shows.

Pretty cool!

I looked on the Kershaw website, but wasn't able to find it there (the Volt SS 3655 looks similar at first glance, but its not the correct one).

I just noticed that its actually in your signature, 10th from the left.

Haha, yes thats also a possible explanation .

The triple reflector/emitter design of the Fenix TK45 had a futuristic look to it, and it showed up in some TV shows/movies.

Spotted it in the JJ Abrams TV series Fringe:

Also appeared in the Alien movie Prometheus:

Anyone here remember the UniqueFire UF-F8, Gatlight knock-off? It was in the SuperGirl TV series used as a switch device instead of a light:
