Flashlights in movies

r/thatsabooklight

There are some pretty cool lights used in the movie Prometheus, anyone think they can identify them?

Already identified a couple of posts above yours:

As well as in the first post of this thread:

Dang, thanks for the links, I thought i search it better, I appreciate you

By the way, on their website, Fenix has a whole list of movies and TV shows where their lights were used:

A pic from the upcoming Uncharted movie.

At one point I thought maybe they'd go outside at night and do beamshots .

Fringe is one of my favorite shows ever! That light looks really silly on a pistol though. The balance must be awful, not to mention it probably doesn’t fit in a holster while that’s attached.

Yes! FRINGE was such a terrific series, like a much more intellectual X-Files. I loved the whole premise. I just wish they’d had higher viewer turnout. JJ Abrams kept it going against the tide of cancellation with all of his might, but the last season suffered. Really too short. Things were rushed.

From the movie The Night House what light can this be ?

so on tv, are those visible beams just something the camera does?

flashlights always look like white lasers

how do they do that
?

The stars in Hollywood shine so brightly……I didn’t think they needed a torch……

Obviously by using fog or a natural high humidity area and using lights with high throw. You can also adjust light sensitivity of cameras and get impressive beamshots, like sellers do for selling ‘’100000’’ lumens lights.

or maybe they use a smoke machine to add a bit of ‘solid air’

Hi there.

Does anybody know what flashlights Gordon and Bruce/Batman use in the new Batman movie? Saw it on previous weekend and obviously I don’t have any pictures, but those look pretty oldschool - Surefire 6P’ish and have nice, warm tint and “VG-16” beam. I’m just curious.

Cheers!

In the series “Raised by Wolves” they use something like the Nitecore TM26, or some of its cheap knock-offs.

I noticed some flashlights with very warm CCT on the Netflix show Wednesday. The beam must have been 2000-3000k. I’m sure that someone hunted these down for the ambiance since almost every flashlight found on shelves is bluish white. If I remember I will grab some screen captures later so we can try to identify the hosts.

It appears to be a zebralight about 500 years from now in Halo Infinity.
