I asked Neal, and he said no anodization. It’s bare aluminum.

Those diffusers are a simple design I put together in OpenSCAD. I’ll post the file in a few days when I get back home. I designed it to be easy to measure a flashlight head and generate an appropriately sized file. I printed those in white and yellow PLA.
