Firebird FB7601 Folding Knife… Amazon.com
This is Axis lock knife with bearings that works well out of the box. I love the blued hardware with the camo G10 scales. It feels great in the hand with a bit more to grab onto. It weighs more, too, but I really like it.

This one review on Amazon is a bit concerning. Are you able to confirm or deny?

This is a decent knife. However there is a safety flaw. The blade when closed doesn’t rest in the handle very deep. So the blade is nearly sticking out, because of this I kept cutting my fingers when I would remove the knife from my pocket. Overall the quality is great for the money but to risk cutting your fingers every time you take it out of your pocket isn’t worth to me.

There is no way that can happen. The tip of the blade rests within the handle and is recessed about 3 mm from the end of the knife where the deep pocket clip is attached. That’s far from nearly sticking out. Furthermore, even if I forcefully push my finger into that tip end of the handle and try to feel the tip, I can’t. Perhaps, rhe reviewer hadn’t fully closed the blade?

I wish to add that the reviewer on Amazon probably cut his finger on the tip of his knife because when he pulled the knife from his pocket, he somehow caught the thumb stud on the pocket material so than whe pulled the knife out, it opened. That could happen with any thicker/larger axis knife with thumb studs, but perhaps may happen more easily with the FB7601, because its thumb studs are a bit pointed. (I’m sure it would be quite easy to round off those points, if that was a concern.)

Thank you! Please explain what I did wrong. I’m still trying to figure out how to post here from Imgur. It DOESN’T seem to be enough to just copy the Url from Imgur. I did add. jpg to that URL and it still didn’t work. HELP!

If you’re on a PC, when you click on one of your images on Imgur’s website, a list of links should pop up on the right side of the image. Copy the one that says “Direct Link” - see below.

Then come back to BLF and use the “Insert Image” icon in your reply form, and paste that link where it says “Image URL” in the popup window. Also fill in the “Relative Width” field with a value no more than 100. This will help downsize your image’s resolution so that it doesn’t stick out past the width of the screen.

The direct link option is not visible in Imgur phone app.

However, instead of using the Imgur phone app, you could just access imgur website through your phone’s web browser and request the “Desktop Site.” This will give you the same user experience as if you were on a PC. The mobile version of the site no longer works.

I’m using Chrome. There is no settings option within the m.imgur.com site.

It’s not a setting within imgur website. It’s a setting within your Chrome browser.

Once you’ve navigated to imgur.com, click the three vertical dots in the top right corner of the browser:

Then scroll down and place a check mark next to the “Desktop site” option.

After that, just navigate to your image and the link options should appear.

Reminds me of the Ferrum Forge Dao from Drop! Big difference from $140 to $39, I’ll have to check it out. My Ganzo FH41 flips and is as smooth as any of my more expensive knives, I imagine this one would be no different.
