All my orders did arrive, bit I remember receiving an email when I did not mark one as delivered, to remind me it was not marked as such and to say to take the proper steps if it indeed was not delivered at all. Is this neat system still in place? And if so, what is the time between sending out and sending the reminder mail? I really liked getting that, thanks
Today I made a return shipment to Gearbest for a faulty device to get a refund under warranty.
It was little bit hard to get a simple answers to a simple questions regarding return shipments and refunds from support.
I read warranty pages before opening the support ticket but did not find all the needed answers there so tried the support ticket way.
But I followed the supports instructions to the letter and we will see if the refund process goes as promised!
Just PM’d Gearbest and got a reply.
Unfortunately they told me the same i already knew.
Still have to wait longer…
GearBest shipping really could be improved!
Also, if I recall right, you need to put the delivery date afterwards. But if I only get around to it weeks later or longer, there’s no way I can remember when it arrived, and putting down a wrong guess, say, 1-2 weeks after actual delivery, would throw off any meaningful data.
Sort of similar, I just closed a ticket, but to close a ticket I think you have to go through the rating process. And lots of items just don’t apply.
Eg, if I just ask a question but don’t need to return anything, it still has as the last part (“tab”) to rate the returns process. I don’t know what to put as the answers.
Ie, I can’t put 1 star because I hate it, or 5 stars because I love it, so… 3 stars to split the difference?
sadly its beyond gearbest control if postal service in certain countries is crap… imean what can they do??

I will confirm the info is from Customer service center or form order system, then I can give feedback to the right department.
If the email is from other shipping companies Gearbest cooperates, we will give advice to the shipping company by the name of Gearbest official.
When the package is ready, the shipping companies take the package, then our order system will send you an email.
Actually, the order system will send you only 1 email with the info: your package has been dispatched from xx warehouse, the tracking code, tracking site, and the time out of local warehouse, and etc.
If customers have any questions, can contact with the service center, ansd then they will email you details about your package.

To bre frank, It is actually the common way for service staff: they will say sorry for balabalabala, the policies of our site to your case can be found here balabalabala, and the solution 1, solution 2, and 3…
If you do not wanna long text like this, then you can give them a remind on the first ticket reply, I appreciate for their cooperation as teammates and hope you can understand.
Finally, to the point, if they did not give you proper solutions, please let me know the ticket number.
