fwiw, when the sw45k first came out, around 5 years ago, it was the only 9080 LED… the extreme pink of those D180 LEDs became a sign of Ultra High CRI Ra And R9
but there was consumer backlash against the extreme pink tint, and the lower output compared to Low CRI LEDs
So the D180 was followed by D200 (11% brighter and less severe pink tint), and later that was superseeded by D220 (another 10% brighter and GREATLY reduced pink tint, which is where we are now.)
Presently available D220 sw45k have very little pink tint, as you noticed.
