How do you carry all the "edc" stuff that you carry?

Whoa… that dewd’s carrying a bodega in his backpack.

Nice!

I hate carrying things, I mean anything, so I keep whatever I need in the car. Yes its not always with me (when I am not driving,) but I can’t carry a duffel bag full of doo-dads in case I ever need to use one.

Thinking out loud…

Am I old enough (senile enough?) to start looking for my very own Little Red Wagon?

:sunglasses:

I would Love it and Squeeze it and call it my very own!

Ok someone please find the perfect murse!
I have tried everything form Vanquest and Expedition and still am searching for the perfect bag for edc of all my crap. Currently use the Vanquest Mobius 2 but cant stand the huge strap attachment points.
I really like the overall looks of the Nutsac bags but would have to fill them with smaller packs to keep things organized.

For the last few months I carry my stuff in a Helikon-Tex Wombat Mk2 with me. Yeah, it’s on the larger side, but usually it isn’t filled up to the top. On the other hand it gives me enough space even for larger things and it has a variety of pockets all around. Also the shoulder strap is very nice – thick, wide and stiff.

Previously I used a Helikon-Tex Satchel Bag with an added foam insert to make it more stiff. But it didn’t have enough pouches for my stuff and everything was an unorganized mess. I still use it for shopping and some outdoor activities where it’s OK to throw everything into one bag.

Id bring a small to medium AA/1x 18650 flashlight in my pocket or on a clip. Apart from maybe phone/keys i dont carry anything else.

We do a lot of fishing/camping and attend all of the grandkids sporting events so I need room for -

water/coffee/snacks/first aid kit/knife/torch/writing instruments/wet wipes/heart meds/phone/wallet/sunglasses/reading glasses /various doo hickies for repairing things.
Tape/super glue/magnifying glass/tweezers/gator/earplugs/gloves/chap stick, micro fiber cloth, phone charger/cables/power bank, etc.

I constantly switch between driving 3 different cars and then there is the motor home and boat.
Oh ya and sometimes I go into the office to work so there’s that also

“actual” EDC (fits my 2 front pockets):
Phone, wallet, keys with olight i1r2 pro

“Might need more” EDC: add Leatherman skeletool KBx to my back pocket

“Might as well bring my backpack”:
SP33S, S2+ 18350 (519A), S2+ (18350) UV, Leatherman Charge TTi

Wallet, chapstick, loose change: left front
Keys, knife: right front
Primary cellphone: left rear
Flip phone: right rear
Sofirn IF25A: belt pouch, right side back
Gerber Multi tool: belt pouch, left side back

Concealed carry: Bersa Thunder .380, left side shoulder holster

OR

Open carry: Springfield XDM .45 Full size, right side small of back

I made a leather pouch that holds my light, knife, pen and Knipex. And it fits in my front pocket. I couldn’t find one that would hold all of that and fit in a pocket. All of the ones you could buy only had belt loops. So… I designed and made my own. Is it pretty? Not really. Does it get the job done? You betcha!

To me those things which have found the local minimum of peak function become beautiful forms of themselves despite the lack of widespread appreciation.

Perhaps a little on the large side for EDC, but I picked up a sling bag from 5.11 and absolutely love it. I can fit a 14" laptop in it, a water bottle, and compact windbreaker, and lots of EDC.

If there is anything I can ding it for, it’s right shoulder only.
