New Convoy S2+ owner, just received my 519a 5700k and can’t get out of 1st group. The ali express instructions say to click 20 times but mine just cycles the modes in group 1 over and over. I’m sure this is me being dense - any dumbed down instructions available?
i googled my butt off and see numerous different methods suggested - I can’t seem to get any to work.
You should cycle in pace of about 2 clicks per second. After 20 hits you should notice the flashlight stopped cycling modes and gives 1 second high frequency strobo. That’s how programing start.
But I encountered once faulty driver which programing mode couldn’t be accessed. It was like yours, only cycling through first group. So the latter option is possible if you make sure you’re doing it correctly.
You need to Tap(Half Press) it 20 times, not click.
If you click it, you have to start all over.
I was half clicking, sorry. I’ll try a slower cadence as mentioned above
Don’t bother “counting” the half presses. Just keep doing it until you notice the light stops cycling through the modes.
Nope, 20 taps doesn’t do anything except keep,cycling thru the group 1 modes. I tried it slow and fast. It never stops cycling.
Bad driver.

BLF A6 driver would fit in there. May be still available on Banggood?
Did you get a driver with multiple groups? You can choose between the 12 groups model and a simplified 4 mode (so 1 group, I guess?) at checkout. Sounds to me like you got the 4 mode one.
Does that mean you have the following modes:

I was supposed to get 12 modes - here is a screenshot of my order:
and right now I can only cycle through: 0.1%, 1%, 10%, 35%, 100%, strobe, biking, battery-check
How would I change groups if I got the 4-group version?
The 4 mode driver doesn’t have these modes, so you have the 12group driver.

OK, Thanks for all the directions and especially the videos. I am 100% confident the light is simply not entering the programming function after 20+ taps. I tried to file a claim on Aliexpress but of course it won’t upload my required video to complete the refund submission form. Really annoying, I wanted the flexibility of the 12 modes.
