I got scammed on Aliexpress official Acebeam store [Resolved 05/15]

hello, i am so angry right now,

I have bought the following item from Acebeams original store on aliexpress,

I bought the orange Pokelit AA lamp and look on image below what i got, total ripoff and garbage value max 2$… How is this possible ?

EDIT: This case is now resolved i have got full refund from AE.

Very sorry to see that. There are 3 ways to get a refund

  1. Hopefully Aliex will refund you. Dont wait more than 30 days, cause if Aliex does not refund,

Paypal dispute wont help you if you wait over 30 days.

  1. If Paypal does not refund you,

  2. I would file a claim with the Credit Card company (that I use to pay for Paypal orders)

good luck!

2 Thanks

Wow, that sucks… Hopefully you will be able to get your money back!

I’ve bought 2 flashlights from the official Acebeam store on Aliexpress (including an orange Pokelit) and both times I recieved right flashlight in its original box.

The official store on AE has quite a high rating of 98,6% (I believe), which in my experience is a good indication for a reliable store.

Sorry to hear that you didn’t had that experience and I will hope it eventually turn out well!

Yeah i sent a request i ask for full refund, i am not sure what went wrong its not even funny and its just weird how it ended up… maybe someone on the pack center stole my light and switched with the garbage i was sent… either way im not paying for this.

I thought it was weird when i was about to open the bubblemailer why is the light not in its orginal box did it fall out or something ? the image is exactly what was inside nothing else…

For some reason I remember seeing that exact picture and collection of stuff before…

you mean it has happend to others in here before ?

Maybe, I dunno, but I remember seeing those exact same 3 items in either a youtube video, or another “got scammed by ali” post…

I have never been scammed by AliE, and have bought lots of items over recent years. Occasionally when things have gone wrong (less than 2% of times) and stuff did not work properly, it was easy to get a refund or a replacement item sent. Always had great service.

You can lodge a claim if the items received don’t match what you bought. First thing to do would be contact the seller and tell them you want a refund.

I recently had to use it for a expensive purchase (AU$700), and I got a partial refund for the seller stuffing me around and not supplying what they advertised. That was what I requested. AliExpress straight away had said they’d refund it, but I would have to pay return freight.

With something cheap like that I doubt they’d want it returned.

Yes i did write to seller on Ali and sent the same pic i posted, hopefully they will take responsibility. I have bought many times over the years from ebay/ali and never has something like this happend. It would been better if no package would arrived then that garbage what i was sent, just a waste of money even send that crap…

Im just sad mostly since i was looking forward to that light and its not really an expensive one either but im supposed to get what i buy no matter price… will not take any more chances buy from that store again i think.

Probably have been done by some angry employee working on his last shift…

Report it to AliExpress too, they need to know when sellers are scamming buyers. Under “Order Details” there’s “Returns/ Refunds”- you should be able to apply for a refund there for the goods not being what you ordered.

One flashlight I ordered was marked as posted and then AliExpress stepped in and cancelled the order. Something about the seller uploading false tracking info and they were taking action against them?

Last month I ordered several lights from that webshop. Everything was okay.

Or a bad return. People are known to order an item, replace that item with something of equal weight and volume, and then file a return and send it back in original packaging. If they don’t check it upon receipt and simply restocks the item, this can happen…

I got a response on dispute on ali, acebeam has linked a screen still of a video where they claim they packed the light. I sent pics of how the label looks so it seems so far they take no responsibility… i am even more dissapointed how they answered me… first and last time i will ever buy from acebeam, lets hope ali will take my side if not this is just a scam seller i dont care what they say something obviously happend after and its surely not me who is to blaim.

Seller’s message:
the parcel was sent out from aliexpress selection warehouse , and dispatch video shows that it was the right item in the parcel . and pls show us the parcel label

If the seller does not respond or no agreement is made before 2025-05-10 07:53:36, AliExpress will step in and help you to solve this issue.

Since it is fairly easy to fake these “dispatch videos” this is no proof at all.

One thing I’ve learnt on AliExpress - it is rare to find a vendor who is willing to offer any kind of customer service if there’s an issue with the transaction.

The usual responses are:

  • we give you good discount next time you buy
  • you need to pay freight for replacement
  • you need to pay extra
  • we send out missing item with your next order

They never seem to care the least about losing potential future sales from one person.

(BTW I find it hard to believe they video every item being packaged.)

Should i reject the proposal from seller or just wait for aliexpress to review the case ? its 7 hours left for me to respond it says

The seller didn’t propose anything did they? Only said they sent the correct thing- or did I miss something?

They asked just after to send pics of the label so i did that and said the weigth says 0,2kg but their response on dispute is they are against refund so either i say no to that or just wait it out ?
