Is there a 5050 3V high CRI LED?(Rollercoster of emotions --- 3V 5050 9070 --- GT FC30 6V R9070 5050 --- GT FC60 12V R9080 7070)

Well that FC20 looks interesting for sure but MOQ 1000 is a bit too much

@thefreeman, good call :slight_smile:

I think I’ll be able to convince Getian to make a special run of FC20s/30s for flashlight manufacturers.

I’ve forwarded your idea, although in a better technical drawing.

Following this with great interest. I have flat out refused to buy any flashlight that has a 5050 non standard mcpcb because of a lack of quality emitters.

So, is someone willing to buy 100pcs of a sample of the 2700-6500k 90CRI multi-die LED? lmaooo, it’d be so fun if it was actually decent.

I’m starting to think that this was a mistake.
I’m now getting tons of messages from many companies :stuck_out_tongue:

Ok, I don’t know how this happened, but either the agent made a mistake, or the SFT-20 actually exists…

Significant development regarding this LED:
It can be driven at 3-6V depending on the solder pad configuration!!!

So, I’ve managed to get some samples.
If anyone wants the LED shown above, show your interest here.

Don’t worry, I’m still waiting for Getian to answer. They’re apparently discussing if they should make a special batch for us flashlight folks, especially since the GT-FC40 has been quite popular.

I’ll be selling the LED at cost so as many people can test it out as possible.

highly interested, as long as it has good tint. otherwise the high cri is not worth it over sst40

I would like to try out this emitter.
It could be decent for our application.

I’m certainly interested, the lack of 3V, 5050 high CRI options has always frustrated me. 3000K doesn’t cut it for many applications.

So guys, let’s scratch the domed multi-emitter die GB because something much better is about to happen.

Once I get back home, I’ll bring the excellent news

Ok, so this is wayyyy better than I could have ever anticipated.

The 5050 GT-FC20/30 90CRI 4000-4500k 3/6V EXISTS!!!

Well, it’ll exist after we make it a reality

I responded, and now I’m just waiting for spectrum data, CRI measurements, and the datasheets, and we’ll be going at full throttle!!!

Cool.
Can they make custom chromacity ? Some FC-40s from Convoy are unfortunately above the BBL, I think it’d be preferable if it is a bit below the BBL (not as low as sw45k, more like the good XP-HIs, around –0.0020~–0.0030)

Ah, and can they send samples ? To check how it behaves with different optics.

@thefreeman, I already sent them a message about this.

We obviously need to test them out before we make a very large purchase
It’ll have to be the 12V variant though, but that’s fine if nothing else changes.

Interested.
