Is there a 5050 3V high CRI LED?(Rollercoster of emotions --- 3V 5050 9070 --- GT FC30 6V R9070 5050 --- GT FC60 12V R9080 7070)

I’m down for 3V a couple to start and if I like them I’d buy a lot more.

Yeah, I’m personally super excited.

I’d love a high CRI version of the Sofirn Q8 Pro, or a high CRI version of many throwy SFT-40 lights.

I’m still so glad I went on this epic adventure, and actually ended up finding this.

I’m so grateful for your motivation my BLF friends.

Interesting. Very interesting.

A datasheet about the earlier 2700k+6500k LEDs.

5050 2700k+6500k
3535 2700k+6500k

Properties aren’t all that interesting honestly, even if they are indeed 90-95CRI.

I think I’ll just stick with Getian as originally planned

Awesome work you did there. I'm in for sure!

Great stuff! I’m interested too.

Im interested too!

After SKV89’s experience with the GT FC40 and the fact that the LED itself was R9050, I’ll explicitely ask for R9080.

Thank you guys again for your support, it’s really appreciated.

We’re getting close, I’m now speaking directly with an engineer

This is going in the right direction. Thanks for pursuing this BlueSwordM!

What is going on here!? A long time ago I asked about hicri, 5050, 3V leds and there was nothing on the market. Of course, I am interested in the 3V version, but only if someone tests some samples and they turn out to be at least non greenish.

@Chatika vas Paus, what is going on here is that I’m using my powers to get some 3V 5050 R9050/R9080 LEDs :stuck_out_tongue:

You just got to do some stuff when you want to get stuff done :stuck_out_tongue:

I got a lot of experience when dealing with springs that if you ask nicely enough and are competent enough, you can practically get stuff made without too much trouble

I’m also extremely stubborn. I’ve been wanting to have an R9080 5050 BLF Q8 for a long while, but there’s never been an option.

Today, there will be an option

I would definitely like to try some 4000k or 4500k in 3v 5050.

Fantastic news. I’m interested in this.

Is there going to be a wide range CCT 6500k - 1800k?

@flightless22, not yet.

For the group buy, I’m aiming for 4000-4500k R9080.

If demand is good, the LED is great, and everyone is satisfied, I’ll go on a propaganda convincing spree to a few manufacturers

Okay that’s great. :+1:

Excellent, excellent.

Would you guys prefer the GT-FC20(20W) or the GT-FC30(30W)?

They have the same 5050 footprint, but the FC30 can handle more power, while the FC20 has smaller dies and can throw further.

Interested! I cannot decide between FC20 and FC30. I think either would be great.

Yeah yeah, I’ll just decide based on data here and on Reddit(I’ll link the poll there as well).

Anyway, datasheets are coming!!!

Datasheets are in!!!

GT FC30

GT FC20

Note: this is just a generic datasheet for the generic LED properties.

No worries, they will make R9080 LEDs for the final batch :stuck_out_tongue:
