Is This For Real

Been lurking for a bit, finally decided to open an account here. Hi!!

I bought one of these pretty fast, I think at the time there were only a handful sold. Was marked as shipped the same day (04/17/2012). I've sent a few messages to the seller regarding tracking, no answer. So, we'll see what happens. I'll definitely post back if I hear back, or especially if I receive anything. I am not too concerned...obviously I am hoping that things go through and a legit torch shows up in my mailbox, but if not, the handful of times that I have had to dispute anything through paypal or ebay have gone smooth.

Welcome to the gang, prozenberger!! I hope this goes well for you but my gut says it’s a scam.

hello patriotis!!

Welcome to the monkey house, prozenberger & sifissamos!

Y'all should just send me $25 and I will send you three or four emails telling you the package is being sent to make you feel better. I'll even email you a photo of me putting a King in a box with your name on it.

He had 16 feedbacks when this started, now he has sold 155 at $23 each, thats a nice month.

..

He probably just sent you a keyring

The tracking on mine is not working yet, let's see what happends..

My thoughts too.

Cone is using this (scam) to recruit new members (HeHe)! Looks like it"s working. I do hope all ends well. Oh, this is kinda entertaining in a sick kinda way

..

Im guessing it will be a similar item but an item of "rare" nature i.e. an older dated low value coin from local currency. With a note / invoice with with someone elses name/addy info inside showing the cost of providing the coin to be well above the cost of your item. And a note stating thanks for your business and hopes the coin suits your needs to complete your collection of that years coinage. In hopes buyer thinks they got the best end of a mistake.

When item finally arrives in a month after purchase you find hes "mistakenly" confused your order for someone elses order which will be his answer to your paypal claim assuming other scams on that paypal account are still current, requesting you ship the item back upon receipt he can reship. To prolong the scam of the paypal the items could be anything that from ranging from coins, stamps, or any odd collectibles.

And of course most will not pay shipping back cause you/they realize its a worthless coin and is a scam. Though some maybe not realize and pay out more moneys to send it back to "somewhere" expiring their paypal claim further extending the time to two months before the "correct" item will be shipped and of course the third month for transit time but surely at this point you will not even receive further communications much less tracking info from seller.

I think this is how i the scam works.

Right. Then they are going to lose $43 instead of $23.
