I asked for a tracking number a week ago with no response. At least he sent some people a tracking number andma reply. I got nothing.

If you dispute now, does that preclude you from filing at 45 days when you receive nothing or crap?
No-you keep your current claim open and the you can change the reason for it. Of course I'm being mindful of the date and will change it if I don't receive it, which, frankly, I don't expect to.

I don't think it is the seller's fault that you are not getting tracking numbers. I'm sure that the resort island he is on does not have Internet access, so after his 6 or 8 month vacation (your money at work) he will probably get back to you.
ok, Kramer, I attempted to open a dispute. After composing the reason section, I clicked next and got this message:

The only choice I am given at the bottom is 'Escalate to a Claim' or 'Cancel'.....
Sounds like PayPal may have already figured out this is a scam. Think I should hit Escalate?

Mine says "Origin post is preparing shipment" on the USPS tracking site, still wondering where this may end up.
Very obvious its a scam here. You can tell by just looking at his feedback status. Why would you suddenly change it to 'private'? and already he has 3 negatives
Makes no difference if you were given a tracking number or not, you're all in the same boat.
I would escalate a claim immediately.
Escalated to a claim within 24 hours after the sale that this appeared to be stolen from was posted.

I got an update from PP: Tracking # provided. Haven't had a chance to check out yet.
Edit: Got a tracking number, but the tracking company is 'other'. Not sure what to do with that.... :p
Kramer, if you actually find a Skyray KING in your box, I think this thread is going to go totally crazy. I'm going to wait until you receive yours before I submit the claim to Paypal.
I wish the tracking numbers some have received showed the actual weight of the package. That'll tell you for sure if a KING and charger are in the box.
As they can no longer sell ANYTHING with private feedback, this is very telling.
