So I noticed this triple S2+
I’m curious how it’s assembled. Is it a new host or is there a spacer in there the way we build them DIY?
$20 for a factory triple is interesting. Too bad Kaidomain hasn’t put much effort into the UI on their drivers.
It should be their normal S2 plus hosts since they list all the colors they currently offer. Must just include a spacer and their own triple MCPCB and optics. For $20 that seems like a good deal! You could alway swap out the driver with your own.
Is the UI the same as the standard D2+?
KDs 5A driver is 4 modes with memory and double click strobe. No option to disable memory, or different mode groups.
Convoy’s 5A driver is configurable.
If you like mode memory KD’s driver is fine, if you want to be able to change stuff Convoy’s driver is way better.
Is is possible to buy from Kaidomain and not use Paypal ?
Edit: I guess maybe ignore the below or send them a message to inquire. I just tried to order some bits and the only thing it shows me is a Paypal express button.
Personally for international purchases with cheap shipping methods, I would highly recommend using Paypal. The site does say that they accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. If you feel comfortable entering your card information directly and don’t mind the risk of potential misuse or info leaking and all that hassle if it happens, then do that. They’re pretty reliable and seem to be honest, in my experience…they’ve been around forever.

email sales@kaidomain.com and give them the parts you want to order but you don’t have Paypal account. I think they can send you a Paypal money request and you can pay via credit card to the Paypal money request.
Here’s how to pay an invoice without a PayPal account:
- Check your email inbox for the invoice from PayPal.
- Click View and Pay Invoice.
- Click Pay amount.
- Click Pay with Debit or Credit Card if you don’t have an account.
- Click Pay Now after entering the information.
LHT Flashlight Store is their outlet on Aliexpress, too, and last I checked Ali still takes standard payments.
Just be aware that if you ever need to dispute something you don’t get the ease or same protections with plain bank-issued cards like you do with Paypal…varies a lot by issuer but they may refuse you under $50 or deduct that amount from any resolution, plus other junk. Aliexpress as a platform seems much less likely to support the customers in disputes in the last many months, so it’s a crap shoot these days. Hopefully you never need to go down that route with anyone, though.
I suspected that LHT was KD…
Sadly, the LED I want is not on that store… yet.
To date, I’ve only had two problems with Aliexpress and in both cases a full refund was issued. Frankly, I’ve had better experiences with Aliexpress than Bangbad.
I refuse to use Paypal and that’s all I’m going to say about that. I HAD an account with them for many years.
Deals are not working for me for a while.
Discount prices shown… Until I log in. After that, I can only purchase anything for the full price. Frustrating.
