You can either sell Rebar locally and profit or keep it as backup tool or at some other location or as travel tool ;)!
ST300 is HUGE and weighs alot, its not a toy, its a real tool, the longer I own it, the clearer the realization that its meant for heavy duty tasks and not just admiration lol :D!
Now Im drooling over MUT and also would like to put my hands on G302B to see how it fares in a toture test against other tools I have, mainly its hard wire cutters :D!

Reviving this thread just to say that Im finally, most likely, getting myself G201B, all black version of Ganzo’s G201 multi tool :D!
Budget Leathermans have become quite pricey since the last unit I bought!

The G201B does not have lockout? Only miss a scissors in the rebar. Else, great deal!
My ST300 doesnt have scissors either, but given that they have multitude of tools for heavy tasks, its no wonder that there are no scissors, I dont miss them either, Victorinox has got the best scissors in multools anyway, scissors on my Wingman cant compete with those in my Victorinox knife :D!
No, only Ganzo tools that have locking tools are G301 and G302, which cost above 30$ and 40$ respectively!
I always wanted G201 in all black, if I cant work out a deal on Ebay with best offer for yet another Wingman(hehe ), then Im buying G201B!
Then again, I bought bunch of Eneloop Pro and regular Eneloops at the store, so I might have to put this on hold for month, since my spending budget is over for this month :)!
Today I re-checked how much did I pay for my Wingmans back then - 30$ from Tmart’s Ebay store and 25$ from private seller, both new, shipped!

Alright, I think Im almost at the same crossroads regarding multi tool choice as MountainKing was when he started this thread!
I thought this will be quick, short post, but its not, bear with me for a moment please :D!

a)Leatherman Sidekick with carabiner and nylon pouch ~33$. I own Wingman which I like very much despite non-locking tools, quality should be good and for 33$ shipped to my door can you go wrong with Sidekick :)?
b)One of the all black Ganzo’’s from G20xB series ~20$. Been eyeing all black G201B and its brothers for some time now, no warranty, supposedly good quality for the money, but are those 13$ saved worth it? However, being all black is a big, pracitcal bonus for its intended use! Then again, even though tool selection isnt critical, Ive seen people saying that G’s dont come usable serrated blade and Im not impressed by the way how it looks on G200 series either :D!
c)Ultrafire multi tool which looks to be rebranded Gerber Evo tool with slightly different scales and Ultrafire name on it, see for yourself(most likely both made by Ganzo) ~28$. This one has locking tools, which other two doesnt and price wise sits between previous two, locking tools is big temptation, but again, no warranty and for ~5$ more I can get Sidekick which is basically retooled Wingman and I know what to expect from it regarding quality!

I would buy G302B, especially with GearBest’s coupon, but given the currency fluctuation(euro dropped vs dollar) its not that attractive price-wise anymore, 35$ is around 32 euros, which made me look at 10$ chinese pliers tools on AliExpress and made me wonder as to whether I should just get locally some multi tool under 15 euros!

Heh Veer, this thread was such an eye opener for me. It’s not going to help you much but after much going forth choosing between sidekicks, ganzos, etc posting here and on EDC, I got convinced to invest more and get a REBAR. The more reviews I watched on the web (literature) and videos and on youtube, the more I got in love with it and the more convinced I was to spend more. I actually did and do not regret it! What an awesome sweet multi tool

Though wouldnt mind to grab all black Rebar if it was available on the cheap, but its not, hence my question :D! Its hard to justify 60$ on silver Rebar, when I have Super Tool 300 ;)!
Funny, even though its summer time already and nights are shorter and days longer which should prompt people spend more time outdoors during daylight, they arent keen on discussing anything but the lights :D!

Outfitter country on Ebay, they priced it at 32$, then 50-something and then back again 32$, in that moment I knew what to do not to miss it :D!

Ive encountered no issues with pliers on my Wingman, Sidekick appears to be the same.
However, I believe Rev, aside from lack of spring, could have better pliers.
Perhaps we will see updated Wingmans/Sidekicks with Rev’s pliers next year, if Rev proves to be good release, unless they decide to drop those two in favour of Rev .

Folks I have multipes of the now discontinued Leatherman Blast, Rebar, and SOG Powerlock. Yes these are a little more expensive than the Ganzo’s, but they have had their fair share of abuse. If you live in the states, I couldn’t recommend them more. This also does not mean that I’m not a fan of Ganzo’s, I have a few of their knives and couldn’t be happier. YMMV
