I hope so, because I was thinking, and still do, that my failed attempt at humor sucked all the fun out of this. If it was indeed me, come on back guys, I'll try to be less of an a$$.
Umm . . . I was just having fun, wasn't directed at anybody. Just trying to hang with the brainiacs. Should have known I couldn't keep up . . . that damn hick school in Tuscaloosa done taught me wrong.
As the "martyr" I was staying away just to give you guys a break from my relentless silliness. I'm sure it gets old sometimes. I figured I'd use the time away to reread some classics. Can't really say what happened to the rest of them.
Make these into a e-book/paperback?.....writer? My wife loved it. She (as am I) was impressed by these. Very good job all. Our baby son (38) died 9Mo ago and the wife has not laughed much (if any) since. It was nice to hear her really "LAUGH"! Not seeking sympathy but saying "THANKS FOR MAKING MY WIFE LAUGH"! Seriously +!
First JohnnyMac's dog and now this. I'm so sorry. The loss of a pet is bad, but I can not for the life of me imagine the loss of a child, at any age. No parent should ever have to face that. God bless you guys.
Keith, I understand you're not seeking it, but deepest sympathy all the same. Cone's right, no parent should have to outlive any of their children, I think it's probably our worst deep-down fear. Wish there was something comforting to say, very happy if we helped your wife to smile again.
