I promise not to spam your e-mails with useless stuff! That's what this forum thread is for. Unless there is really something special going on, I don't plan on sending out more than one e-mail per week.

The new Supfire L5 and M6s are on the way now from the factory. It has taken almost a month now because I had them built without any markings on them, for a cleaner overall appearance. I could have had my logo put on them, but I prefer the cleaner look. When they get here they won't be available with mod packages at first because I am too busy trying to get everyone's existing orders done before I take on any more custom work. There will be a few tweaks to the modified light when it does become available again, with some additional driver features and LED combination options.

I'd like to thank everyone especially for being patient when there have been some mixups and mistakes along the line. We are doing the best we can, but we do make some mistakes working late hours at night and with a toddler during the day who likes to distract us and mix up orders.

Thank you!
Richard

I know you said you had the triple XPL’s incoming, can you tell us what tint?

Also, would you consider stocking 4D tint for the XML2?

Signed Up! Another package arrived flawlessly.

Finally had time to finish the Triple XP-L S2 and it’s working great.

I usually get the different tint bins depending on current stock and availability, and I haven't really considered the 4D since it is very close to the 4C.

I reflow all of the triple XPLs, and I have 2C and 3D bare emitters coming for the triples. I'm hoping to see them before the weekend.

For the triples, do the gold jumpers make a measurable difference vs just using a glob of solder?

I used to really love the 4C, but the extra red in the 4D makes the light so much more pleasant. Shining on white walls no longer makes them yellow. Seems as close as can be to a 219B while still having a really bright light.

Same reason I love the 3D. Except I prefer my neutral white shades a little cooler and closer to 5000K, so I go for a 3D over a 4D.

(I’m really hoping a 3D with domes will be able to fit or at least be close enough… otherwise, I can settle for a de-domed cooler tint)

(too funny, cracked me up)

( Will the new unmodded M6 be like the old one in all areas except appearance?)

Yes. They both will be the same internally and externally, except for the absent markings on the new batch.

New server is definitely faster from my end.

:frowning:

no triple MCPCB…

+1

There are plenty in stock. Can you not see them?
