MTN Electronics: LEDs - Batteries - Lights - Chargers - Hosts - Drivers - Components - 1-Stop-US Source

The S2+ red button looks a lot like the buttons on the BDO series Convoy lights. I want one to see if my wife will steal it, when I get done with the parts from my last order I’ll have parts to fill the host.

If you hang tight, I've got a bunch more of the red S2+ hosts and a few other things to add tonight.

The red s2+ Pill is excessively long, if you have another convoy S series pill you could probably fit the spacer in without chopping it, or hack the pill down. I'd rather have more heatsink material than hollow brass pill taking up space.

Where do you see those modes? I don't see them in the list for either the FET or Qlite drivers.

I think the "ML/30%/100% No memory" option would be just about perfect for me. Are these additional rev 2 modes available in the qlite driver also?

Awesome. As it turns out, I have a S2 I can swap the pill with, since I only use the head of the light (for testing firmware). I think I’ll try it to see if it works. If not, I can shorten the spacer.

Richard, you wouldn’t happen to have any S3 (integrated shelf) driver retaining rings left over? Can make an order for other items on the new international site if you do.

I've never had one with an integrated shelf, but I do have a ton of retaining rings from the brass pill versions (I never use the rings). I doubt that they're the same though, since it seems like most of the integrated shelf retaining rings are slightly larger.

Yeah, I think all pill rings are smaller than the shelf rings. I’ve checked all mine. Possible that the M2 with shelf has the same size ring as the S3 with shelf, but I don’t have any spares. I tried emailing Convoy Simon some time ago to order hosts but I haven’t heard from him.

I'm sure I can get you a ring, but it might take a while since I just got my Convoy shipment in yesterday.

Cool. If you do, let me know… There’s always stuff I can order from you

Are there plans to add more LED/Noctigon combinations (XM-L2 U3 2x on 20mm)?

How about some cheap 504B hosts :D?

I'm not sure I'm following you on the Noctigon question.

Unless I’m missing something (highly possible), it looks like the only XM-L2s on 20mm Noctigon that you offer is 3C tint and warmer…other than a 1A. I was wondering if you plan on adding any XM-L2’s in the 2A, 2B, or 2C tints.

I’m still getting my feet wet and learning what I like, but based on a 3C being slightly warmer than I want, and a 1A being too blue…I’m guessing my sweet spot is going to fall somewhere in the upper 2’s.

I just added a bunch of FET drivers to the website. All existing orders are built and will ship out by Monday morning if they haven't already shipped. Thank you for being patient.

Also, I just added a few more LEDs. I went through our inventory and realized that I had a few extras laying around of the following:

  • XHP50 J4 1A
  • XHP50 J4 5C
  • XHP70 N2 1D
  • XHP70 N2 5A
  • XM-L2 S6 7D3 90+ CRI Bare LED
  • XM-L2 U3 2A on 16mm
  • XM-L2 U3 2C on 20mm
  • XM-L2 U3 2C Bare LED
  • XP-L V6 3D on 16mm
  • XP-L V6 3D on 20mm

I know that some of you guys have been looking for some of these, especially the V6 3D and J4 1A and 5C.

Thank you thank you thank you

I just ordered 9 XP-L V6 3D’s, i have 5 builds that has been waiting for the 3D to be available again

Thank you Richard for restocking your FET drivers and LEDs. Totally made my day

X2.
Ordered some I’ve been after………….
.
.
Then realized I missed 2……… another order. :zipper_mouth_face:

and almost forgot batteries for that one.

Looks like I missed out on the XHP70’s again.

Sorry, they went fast. I have some more XHP70s on the way. They will be N4 3Bs. The N2s are easy to get; but neutral/warm N4s are a lot harder right now.

Also, I have a customer who accidentally bought a Protected 5200mAh 26650, when he really needed an 18650. He would like to sell it. He says that it is new, has never been charged, and is in the exact condition I sent it to him in. He is asking $12 shipped for it, but may be willing to go slightly lower, so if you're in the US and are looking for a single battery, this may be a good deal (save ~$2 once you factor in shipping cost). If you are interested, let me know and I'll give you his contact information.

Any idea when you may be able to offer the extra chips on the Qlite drivers again? I need one with guppydrv and around 4 amps, but no way my fat fingers are gonna manage soldering those little chips.
