My family got a "new" used car today.
(It's new to us, anyway.)
It's a Certified Used Toyota.
Those generally sell for more than your average used cars because they have to pass a bunch of tests.
Our mechanic told us to get a certified used car.
It's a 2016 Toyota Corolla LE with less than 54,000 miles, which is pretty low mileage for a 2016 car.
We were looking for a 2015 (or newer) Corolla because the Corolla was redesigned in 2014.
The car has some very minor damage, mostly near the rear passenger corner, but it's in excellent condition overall for a used car.
It has never been in a wreck, nor has it ever been a rental or a "courtesy" car.
When shopping for this car, we only looked at cars that offered a free report from Carfax or somewhere similar.
The Carfax report looked perfect.
After all fees, it came to under $20,000 which is an excellent deal considering what we got.
The exterior is sort of a dark shiny blue, and the color looks amazing.
We didn't care too much about the exterior color, but the fact that it looks great is a bonus.
The interior is ash, which is nice because our summers are brutal.
As many of you know, we had to get a new car because our old car got totaled.
Please do not discuss the car crash in this thread.
If anyone asks any questions about the car crash, I'll probably just ignore those posts.
Once the legal case is finished, I'll create a new thread that will be kinda like an "epilogue" of the car crash.
