Since you still call it EDC, I assume you want the light to be compact. When mentioning 'compact thrower' I think of the group buy of the BLF edition of the Lucky Sun D80, it comes in three nice tints:

3/3/16 GearBest has blown through the extended tubes they stocked for protected batteries. LuckySun can make some more, but the price will be higher for this run…I’m guessing around $5.
