I can’t imagine anyone taking offense at all the negative connotations in what you said. 
if one wants to ensure they get the coupon they would wait till just before the deadline, see who has the most votes and vote for them 8)
To answer a few questions:
There will be 3xRCR123a and 1x26650 support (swappable battery tubes) but only 18650 will be available at launch.
If you have ordered from FastTech, you know we’re not into rip offs. Having that said, the driver itself costs way more than any other drivers currently listed on FastTech.
As to whether the driver will be made available separately, we’re open to it but the difficulty providing support for it is nightmare-ish. We either have to charge a premium for providing support, or the driver has to be sold “as-is”. And none of these is what we want to do.
AS-IS works for most of the guys that will go as far as to buy one and mod a light…
you may find it more profitable than just the light. i hope, if you do offer it, that it is expensive, or I’ll have a LOT of lights to mod lol
