So glad to share we’ve added two new USB-C rechargeable cells to the XTAR lineup - 14500 1300mAh USB-C and 21700 5500mAh USB-C batteries. They are widely compatible with multiple devices, including flashlights, headlamps, and other electronics.

I would love to see more information about the cells. The most helpful would be discharge curves, because not all stored energy is available to typical flashlight usage.
With a lot of the newer high capacity cells, we’re seeing a disproportionate share of the additional capacity available below 3v, where it’s not particularly useful because (i) LVP typically comes on at 2.9-3v) and (ii) most lights can’t produce full output that low - often significantly reducing output below 3.25v, if not 3.5v.
I would also like to know internal resistance, and more details about the 500 cycle rating. Is that 500 cycles at 1C charge, ~3C discharge? What percentage of the capacity would remain after 500 cycles, 60%, 70% or some other number?
For the 21700, what are the physical dimensions? USB-C protected cell 21700s are often too big for a lot of my lights. They can be as large as 22770, but not always.
And, of course, price is always relevant.
If you can tell me the answers to these questions, I’m happy to tell you how excited I am about the new products
