New rumoured Hank light

Is www.noctigon.com/ site legit? I have never ordered from this site before.

Thanks Pilotboy for the clarification! I just noticed ZedLep asked the same question in March but no one was able to confirm.

So wait, it is available for purchase now? And we can confirm noctigon.com is safe? I’m gitty:)

Well, Hank himself confirmed it

Ah I see that now, thanks.
Anyone have experience with sst20 5k, I have so many warm lights

Sst20 5000k green on low modes, might as well get 6500k

SST20 looks very bad on anything less than ~60% output in my experience

I do love the tint on higher output but the trade-off is so great that SST-20 4000k is my go-to

Nope .. diving torches cannot have switches like in the DT8, water pressure would make them non-functional after a few meters.

I was worried about the same thing. I like the other site

Dammit… I guess I’m really ordering that damn light. I really didn’t think I would. The noctigon colors really put it over the edge.

It says noctigon, but it just feels like an Emisar… am I wrong? I mean, I see a blown up d4.

The website is noctigon dot com.
The light is called Emisar DT8.

Noctigon seems to be reserved for the flashlights that have more robust internal electronics and features, plus tail switches lol.

Is it just me that feels the price is high at $78 plus options?

I’m excited to read the review, but this is going on my “pass” list with the 9.3.

Yea I didn’t see the $78 and THEN $20 for xpl-hi… I’m passing too. I want 4000k 5d, nothing else right now, and I’m not paying $100… I’ll wait for a review

I’m just curious if there is any innovation, or just linear+FET and more emitters.

Yea that’s a good pOint, because as much as noctigon is my preferred every thing, I’d buy the new e07x pro with xpl-hi for $100 over this dt8, mostly for form, but maybe if there is a new driver in the dt8 the price could be a little more compelling…

Also- it’s be nice to see (since it’s a noctigon) the K1 power button (multi color changing) and the K1/K9.3 batter tube setup. Those two things alone would probably have pushed it into the “ok why the hell not” purchase category for me… maybe when Hank is selling it on Intl-outdoor if he will put w2’s in it I will try it out. I see no reason for double the LEDS except for high output. Bot like you need 8 leds for edc, I can’t imagine a daily task I need 6000+ lumens  so if that’s the case then this is a high output piece, may as well put high out leds in it…

It’s on Hank’s main site now: https://intl-outdoor.com/emisar-dt8-dual-quad-18650-led-flashlight.html

Copying bits of the description, to save you a click.

9A CC + FET is very cool. This should sustain lumens way better than the D4. For reference the E07X is 6A CC + FET.

D4V2 XP-L HI is 4300 lm so the DT8 gives you 56% more lumens.

D4V2 dimensions for comparison: 95mm(length) * 28mm(head) * 24mm(body), 80mm(lenght 18500), 65mm(lenght 18350) - very similar, aside from the width of the head.
