Hello everyone. Here’s my review on Wurkkos HD50, a new headlamp with spotlight, floodlight, and red light. & Comparison with Sofirn HS41, HS20 and Wurkkos HD15

It would be nice to compare it with acebeam h30.
Of the pluses, the presence of a magnet, indication of the charge level and spot+floodlight.
How long and what brightness can it keep ?
Hello sir. I don’t have H30 sir. If I have it, I will definitely compare it with hd50. Spot& flood Turbo lasts about 30 secs then steps down to high. High lasts longer it steps down to about a bit more than Med. I showed turbo and high at the last part of my vdo, walking around scene. Thanks for watching and your support sir . Please subscribe .

Is it normal that the HD50 looks like this from the inside ? Looks a bit strange with the cable and such…
The Battery Heat Shrink is also a bit damaged, i hope its still ok to use the battery ?
Wow, that’s inexcusable. From my perspective, I would cease using that as is and contact Wurkkos for resolution. I’m not familiar with this model, but that seems like a pretty poor design, and even poorer QC.
DEFINITELY would not use that cell without a re-wrap.
I checked mine, those are not scratches, they are little holes, looks like some kind of holders made at production, used to keep model stable when its made on cnc machine. They dont affect performance of flashlight. I would also not worry about battery, scratches like that can happen in a factory and it doesnt mean its used or have worse performance.
Anyone have any recommendations on extra batteries for this light? I like the idea of the Acebeam 21700 5100mah one with the usb c port built in. But I am curious about unprotected cells as well. Unfortunately, I don’t know enough about the batteries to fully understand all the differences.
Thanks for any input
Any of these
So would this one be a good choice for the HD50?
It is a flattop but Im not sure about the dimensions or the 45A spec.
TIA for advice…

Yep
You can use that battery sir. No problems sir.
Just got my HD50 and it looks bit strange. Hole for the battery is not in the middle of the pipe/hull.
Is this normal? Are all HD50 lights like this?

Welcome to BLF. I would worry more about hole under led star.
Yes it’s normal.
Related. Every review should include disassembly. We can see hi power output XHP led star from inside through that useless cut. It does not help for heat dissipation. Correct me if I’m wrong.
Typical for a cheap headlamp. I wonder if that is a genuine XHP50.3 HI or a XLD50 HI clone?
this layout is common amongst headlamps in the HD50 price range. The channel inder the Mcpcb/driver looks like its there for the +/- input wires sort of like how the D10 style ones do it. I don’t think it hurts thermals too bad, but probably doesn’t help. It’s probay fine dut to a 30 second step down and unregulated output anyway.
I try to take my reivew lights apart, but most all are glued
