Newbie after advice...on next torch purchase..

If any of the previously recommended lights fit your requirements they are all lights that are worth spending money on. There are numerous lights out there, but not many worth your money. I would choose a couple that were recommended, than ask the guys which they would prefer and why.

Or even do a search on best 18650 or whatever battery type flashlight your looking for on this forum (above left corner) and it will show recent history of discussed lights that people have been happy with. There are honestly COUNTLESS awesome lights. Some pocketable, some huge. Some are better throwers others better flooders. The most popular selection would be 18650 due to its output and run time…….if thats what your looking for. MOST here are! Good luck and look forward to seeing what you come up with.

So far i’ve bought all these… Still looking for one premium quality torch that everybody likes under £60

Maglite Solitaire LED

Maybe something else I’ve bought but forgot about to add to the list, Should be enough stuff there to last awhile…
Hopefully a few of these products will be good.

Was there a reason you bought them from a Uk store instead of say dino direct ? the intellicharger was 20$ US ....not 35$

** Kriesler has offered to get lots of people a discount on Eagletac lights ..i would have contacted him before buying an eagletac

i'm still confused why you are so stuck on buying off ebay ??

I normally use eBay/Amazon to buy stuff…

A touch over your £60 but use the code CPF to bring it down to 75 and you have the quality light you want.

I think you need a new charger.

Rojos, he bought an intellicharge i4.

Yeah, BLF has been buggy for me the last few hours and I didn't see his post.

EDC 18650 XP-G2 R5 / XM-L U2 850/450lm Flashlight

Wow! You really have embodied the BLF spirit of buy 'em all. :D

but apparently he’s beginning to see the light. :cowboy_hat_face:

Do you think? He seems different, but does act the same. Or am I seeing this a reference to something it isn't?

budget-minded but still opinionated and with good reasoning behind it.

So was this a reference to ISTL? You have me really confused...

is that apparently he’s taking some expert’s advice here and is actually buying items like the Intellicharge i4. That’s all. Btw, what does ISTL mean? LOL……. I could scroll and figure it out I guess eventually. Whatta thread. :weary:

Ok, so I thought you were being witty. ISTL=iseethelight, he was a former member who left after causing a bunch of trouble. You probably wouldn't be able to find much about it because his posts were deleted due to vulgarity.
