Nightwatch Chaos NS59v2 is scary!

It seems to be. When you click checkout there is a space to enter the code so you could test it.

Per Neal (or whoever is chatting with me as Neal  ) two types of batteries: Samsung or Molicel P42. He recommended Molicel so that’s what I asked for. They add the button to the Molicel raised top (?) battery.

Sorry I was wrong. Per Neal not everything is on sale. Here’s the list: Christmas New Year Sale – Nealsgadgets

I measured a Lishen 21700HP with a button top from Nealsgadgets: 72.0mm x 21.7mm.

It’s about 70.9mm long if you exclude the button top.

HKJ’s review mentions that the Lii-500 takes up to 71.3mm:

It may or may not fit the Lii-500.

FYI Nightwatch Chaos now in stock. :+1: :smiling_imp: BTW it’s a good idea to order “with battery” (it’s Lishen) so you could have the highest possible output. Per Neal it is his most “powerful” battery (I assume this means highest current capacity).

There is a 35% off code “Christmas” that is even lower than Tim’s code and brings the price down to $86 with the 2 Lishen batteries. An incredible deal. Christmas New Year Sale – Nealsgadgets

I ordered another light from NealsGadgets 7 days ago and it’s already here in LA. Fastest I have received anything from China.

I just wanted to comment here because the name “Chaos” is just a good name for this insane flashlight.

Wow… I just got mine and it is a beast. Definitely order the batteries with it because they have funky looking button tops. They charge fine in my Vapcell S4 but one was ridiculously low voltage. Like 0.36 volts.

Took it out in the back yard and man… I love the sturdy construction and how you can single click back to turbo mode

Good to know, thanks fellow BLF-er.

That doesn’t sound safe…. ask Neal for a new battery?

Well, they charged up fine and the light works great. It didn’t turn on at all when I took the batteries out and removed the plastic tabs. I don’t think he can ship batteries without shipping them inside of a light anyway.

Just want to share some info for prospective buyers: I ordered two lights and one of the 2 lights I received, Haikelite HK05, has a problem with the red button light always on. Neal doesn’t disagree that there is a problem but has not offered to send replacement, so now it is up to Paypal.

The deal is great, and he has some light that I cannot get elsewhere like the Chaos, but be cautious and use Paypal. BTW, once there is a problem, Neal didn’t answer chat messages or email until Paypal got involved.

Now I’m keeping fingers crossed that the other light I ordered, Nightwatch Chaos, is ok.

Man, I really like this light… The only thing that could make it better is if it used regular 21700s. I’d love to be able to keep a spare set in my pocket

that was kind of the whole reason I bought a powerful light that could use replaceable batteries instead of needing to be recharged like an Imalent.

What are you talking about, it does take regular batteries. They just have to be high drain to get the maximum lumens. Even then, you can still use lower amp batteries.

What do you see that is so irregular about them?

They actually have tabs soldered on to the positive side. My Molicel P42s and Samsung 30Ts are too short and the light doesn’t turn on.

Not that I’d condone buying the light for this purpose but man you could throw someone a serious beating with this thing if you’re getting robbed or something

I think those are just soldered on buttons (Possibly.)

Check post #53.

Simon @ Convoy has some 21700 button top adapters. I’ve used them to connect 2x Samsung 40T and 2x Vapcell T50 cells.

Nice! Do you have a link for those?

//edit// found it on post 53 :slight_smile:

Mine is here also. It’s a distinctly looking and beautiful light. The Haikelite I got from Neal is defective and under Paypal dispute, but this one is perfect. The shipping took 9 days; cannot argue with the speed.

Any guess please? For shoulder strap?

Just curious. I plan to remove the lower one to make the handle smoother to hold.
