Nitecore TM11 (2000 lumens), coming soon

I am wondering if they mixed up the lights Hikelite. The jetbeam reflectors are bigger (bezel diameter also bigger) and also they are clustered in the middle, hence it looks like it's a cut up bigger/deeper reflector. But the pictures do not show that, contrary the opposite is true!

I want to get the TM11, but then.....i also want to go wild with the next Cree emitter triple. LOL!

When you go too deep in, it looks like 2500L is not enough for me now. (too bad i started with HIDs)

Now that you say that, I think it's possible they have mixed the lights. RRT3 should be the thrower I think .

Interesting:

It runs on 4 x 18650 AND 8 x Cr123A, BUT this guys says it can run on 1 x 18650 or 2 x Cr123A also.

It's 4-cells in parallel, that's why it's ok. 1-2-3-4 all can run. Driver is smart to detect cell voltage, like the TK70 it would just not run and kickdown to the next mode if the sag is too much.

If they are in parallel , how can 4V run 3 x XM-Ls?

Not if, they are. Probably LEDs are parallel too.

I see , all the positive ends are making the contact with the same ring on the head.

The driver boosts the voltage. This is what the TK70 does, it can actually run with just 3.4-3.6V under sag 3-cell (Alkalines) and is runnable with 1 x Li-Co. It is wired in series.

many TM11 owners are facing problems with their TM11...flickering, blinking and cut off

Wondering how to solve the problems??

Where did you read this? Link please.

Yeah...a lot of problems.

2 local flasholics also sweared off Nitecore EDCs already...way too many issues for their few units.

Love my Nitecore Extreme, but there have been reports of quality control issues with a number of the newer Nitecore models.

I was wondering what caused flickering/blinking/off on tm11

$205 + $2.27 handling fee, shipped (registered air parcel), from bestinone.net. Still the best price i have ever seen.

but still not low enough for me - not because a quality light w/ these features isn't worth that much but because of the duds people have gotten - sorry but if I'm spending > $200 there'd better not be ANY reports of failure on first use. all they've gotta do to prevent that is run the damn things before sending them. I'd rather buy two DRY lights and have plenty of cash left for batteries...

they get many more complaints and I'd bet you'll see these lights drop to $150

dthrckth, i agree. I originally really wanted to get the TM11, but a fellow local flashaholic (super crazy about flashlights, owns like literally all the premium lights available) told me not to get Nitecore. EE by training, the circuits and components just are not supposed to work. Quite a few of his Nitecores are not working.

I'd love for one of these to become available as a host and just put my tried and true 7135's in it, same as my other lights.
