I got one as a gift – and I’m doubly glad I did, as it’s a fantastic light which I’d never buy myself due to (1) price, (2) non-user-replaceable batteries, and (3) no Anduril.
As (1) has already been taken care of, I’m now thinking about trying to remedy (2) and (3)… and of course opening the beast up and having a look inside is the prerequisite first step.
I can see it has a couple of Torx screws near its tail, but I’d like to avoid trial-and-error unscrewing things in a $300 light unless I can’t avoid it.
Some googling didn’t return anything useful, so I’m asking the community here.
