BMS?
Two 120 amp JBDâs in parallel with Bluetooth. Iâm upgrading the 150a one I have on there now. Backup power and batteries are just as addictive as flashlights for sure.

(both are the same product.)
It's a dog training collar.
It can make a noise, vibrate, or if that doesn't work, shock your dog.
I'm going to try it on myself first to make sure it's not too painful.
The vibration and shock amounts can be adjusted.
I'm hoping this will make my dog more obedient.
(He is quite stubborn.)
By the way, I would avoid this older product (with a very similar model name) by the same manufacturer as it is potentially dangerous:
Ah, youâre a teacher?
âStudy, study, study! Or bonk-bonk, bad kid!â
it was a âmotorcycle thingâ gift.
something about a 1% club.
We use bathroom water fixtures daily. If itâs cheaply made or a poor performer, you have to face that every single day. Itâs worth investing in something better. Changing a bathroom faucet can be pretty simple, if youâve got a standard pipe threading for hose attachments.
Got this heavily discounted top end model Moen faucet. Installation was about 30 minutes. SO much better than the old fixture. Seriously heavy. Smooth operation. Gorgeous to look at⌠and will be doing that daily! Btw, that metal stanchion isnât some stamped shell of metal around a plastic core. Itâs completely solid chromed metal, heavy enough to be a paperweight.
So many Chinese brands exist for things like USB adapters, cables, power banks, etc., and so many are âfly by nightââhere one year, gone the next. I have to say that so far Iâve had excellent experiences with BASEUS. I think theyâve been around for a good 8 years now, maybe longer. Quality has gone up over time.
I was in the market for a USB-C cable in a short length. I have a couple that are seriously short, like 10cm long, and wanted one thatâs about double that length. I checked up on AliExpress and BASEUS showed one with extra reinforcement against cable fraying at the plug end (LINK). It also comes with an attached micro-velcro strap for easy storage. Shipping is horribly slow from China, but it finally arrived. I knew it had a color LED strip on it for easy finding in the dark, but I didnât know anything about how the color rotates. Itâs a nice gradual shift across the color spectrum. But what was a bit of a surprise is how the strip will be mono color at one point, then after a few moments, the color shift is stepped where youâll see one color on one side, and a different color on the other side. There really wasnât any need for the maker to do this. A basic mono color change is fine. But this adds a bit of artistry to the whole effect.
I have to wonder how they implemented this inside. Iâm guessing 2 LEDs, one on each side. But they use a diffusion material that nicely disperses the illumination. Anyway, for $2 shipped, you canât go wrong!
I got the same thing (different brand / model) for my stubborn hound. He went from running away every single time, to coming back when called, with no collar, in about a month. I would send a beep tone a few times while calling him, and if he didnât respond, Iâd buzz him on low. Within a few days I didnât have to buzz, only beep. A few weeks later, he listened perfectly and will recall from a few hundred yards without the collar.
Wish I had that back when my dogs were alive. I had to bribe âem with cash.
The screen on my old DAP started going bad, so I picked up a new DAP so that I have something to listen to on my upcoming trip (many long flights). This one is Android-based, so I can install pretty much any audio player on it.
Fitbit issued a voluntary recall on the Ionic smartwatch for causing burns. I never had a problem with mine, but Iâve been tired of some of the software shortcomings of the Fitbit OS. Iâve been wanting to change to a Wear OS based watch, but didnât want to shell out another 300 bucks for a watch when I still have a working one. So, I took Fitbit up on their recall, and ended up getting the Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS (they really need to work on their product names). After the recall, I still have 5 bucks left over and have a watch that supports Google Pay now.
just a cheap one to find out
how it will work out.
if it does, there are better ones
for long-term use.
I had to do a reverse image search...
It's a shotgun scabbard.
I was first thinking mil-spec pen/pencil holder.
I thought it was a strangely-shaped backpack that you wear diagonally across your back.
