The light is chunky enough without the 'hump ring' to heatsink any led at any drive current.

Some cheap zoomies i.e. Sipick 68 do not have sufficient adjustment length to focus beyond the focal point both near and far. This light should have more adjustability.

All’s I know is I enjoy cool lights.

I figured a host is the body of the light? pill is the computer board basically? The part behind the lens??

Put me down tentatively for one. the entire ensemble. I need to learn what this light actually does shine though. Lumens?

A host is everything but the LED and the star it is mounted on and the driver or circuit board. The pill is what the LED and driver attach to (yes, behind the lens). Yes, it will be a white light.

UPDATE 3-14-2015 Currently the company is waiting to find a source for DTP stars. I won’t have an update on price until they are able to find a source and their price. They wanted to use a cheap non-DTP copper star and I refused. So, currently waiting to hear back on if they found a source.

Tell them to send the hosts. It is not problem to manage other stuff... We are all at BLF so it is piece of cake to get all accessories.
