I don’t have pictures of my ’74 VW Beetle, but I had it lowered so low to the ground it scrapes the bumps. It had two Weber 40DCn down-draft carbs and 13in low profile tires. I can’t help but reminisce the good old days. Cassette-players with auto-reverse, haha.

I remember during my first year in college, there was this guy who owns an AMC AMX 2-door hardtop with a souped-up engine. He would stay beside my Beetle while we are cruising at around 40kp/h, take a look at me for a few seconds, then floor it, screeching and smoking its nylon, skinny tears….whew!
