Claimed to be so, yes.
- One of HKJs concerns was simply dismissed as not relevant or material.
- Another was addressed with firmware to overcome the issue, at least enough. I think this was the power supply pulsing.
Proven to be corrected, no.
HKJ was sent a sample, but there was a problem. IIRC HKJ wanted a full unit, not partial kit as was sent (PSU was missing I think). He was then resent a complete unit. He still does not have it.

I was going to buy myself another efest luc v4 (i returned the first model because it only charged to 4.1v), but then i saw for only a few bucks more ($10 more after shipping) this was available… i figured i would give it a shot since my hobby charger pooped the bed.
Henry Xu, the chief engineer of this charger, is aware of the concerns of HKJ 1.0 review.
He has addressed a significant amount of attention to those concerns in this 2.0 version.
This coming days the 2.0 review sample will be arriving with HKJ for another review.

Exactly 4.1? i got 4.16 - 4.17, and such, the batteries don’t come at the exact same volts but never 4.1….
yes - 4.17 is perfectly normal actually
my efest did 4.10 volts and said 100% which was outside their spec of 4.20v+/- 0.05v
So… we didn’t get refund… only store credit $2.00? which can not be combine with any discount?

I thought I read it as - we get the points in our accounts (which I got, I checked) and can use them as cash. And then use the new discount code which brings the price down to $39. So we “should” be able to get a second one for around $37?
So until you add the tracking, you are right back at $41.
On the good side, they lowered Express shipping to only $3.21
Hopefully they will back up the 3-7 business days approx delivery time.

Please read the OP. No refund was mentioned. What was sent was a $2 coupon, and an extra 100 points (which has a dollar value) aside from your the points received from buying your charger, all those can be applied during checkout for more discount. Try to do the process and see the final amount.
All orders more than $30 has free tracking.
How to get the price to 39/41??

Only shipping other than the free flat-rate will you add some amount depending on the service you choose.

In your print screen, if you see that orange $1.99 tracking number with a ? sign to its right, don’t put a check, leave that alone. If you click on the ? sign , a drop down will appear and the last sentence will say “we always pay for tracking on all standard free or expedited shipping (I forgot the exact words)).
Edit: Try to go over it again, and Check/UNCHECK the tracking, the final amount is $39, unchecked. And try clicking the ? mark, it has some messages about free tracking as I mentioned above.
