Just placed my second order on these. Took this measurement after letting one go a round in my xtar wp6 ii (they arrived at ~3.8v)
Quality panasonic cells, from what I can tell. Love the big button heads… solves some contact headaches w/small springs etc.
The seller takes offers on orders >3, and accepted $4.25/per x 6 = $25.50 shipped. They ship from Ohio via USPS & mine arrived a week from the purchase date. Apparently he acquired a case & is selling them a la carte. Rather them go to people from here so swipe ’em up before someone from somewhere less dignified does!
The cells appear to missing some markings when compared to legit Pana 18650 cells.
I have both, reference the green Pana’s and differences http://www.cobbcarpet.com/sanyo.html\\
Just want to update my response as there very well may be unprotected Pana 18650 in green shrink wrap. I just haven’t seen a confirmed legitimate cell yet. If anyone has them please step up
Here’s another seller with a good rep that has sold them. Both CGR18650EA & MH12210 binning & identical. Googling CGR18650EA pulls up a host of (mostly alibaba) sellers that have them too.
And yes, they’re unprotected (& green) like other Panasonic cells posted:
Those look exactly like the ones member RevendJim was selling on this very forum @ $1.75, that is probably were he bought them; they then would be the real deal, as I bought 30 of them myself and many other on here bought them too. That’s one nice of a mark-up he is making off of them
Haha, I probably would’ve bought 30 too! Not the exact same cell (2350 vs 2550 capacity difference), & either way $2.50 is a reasonable premium for an extra 200mah (I’ve certainly seen people pay a lot more… especially for Panasonics). Besides, it’s not like you’ll find equivalent cells in the states for cheaper short of another miracle by the good Reverend!
I received 2 yesterday and am ordering more. At first I thought they were no good because they did not seem to be charging (fast enough?). But pm”ing with Erik about my P-60 drop-in he informed me that better fatts would charge slower (I only had charged some fakefires that charged real fast emptied fast as well). Only having them one day I can”t say for certain, although run time”s were twice that of the trust fires, I feel these are a real bargain and the real deal. I ordered some more. Thank”s for the heads-up torchjunkie!
