For all of you guys frustrated that your light has not shipped, here is my story.
My light was on the fist pallet shipped and it got to Minneapolis, MN in less than 48 hours. Great start right. It was loaded on a truck Friday morning set to travel East 90 miles to my front door. The truck was about 15 miles from my house but the clock struck 9:00 pm and they do not deliver after 9:00. No problem, Saturday morning is just fine with me. But wait, they do not deliver in my area on Saturday, Sunday is a holiday and Monday is a holiday. Tuesday it is I guess.
My light went from China to just a few miles from my house in two days, but those last few miles are gonna take 3 1/2 days. So close, but yet so far.
You know how they say that it is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all, well, I kind of feel like my love was nearly at my door, and then I lost her.
Can you feel my frustration, even a little? :person_facepalming:
That’s about my problem, but the driver claimed he couldn’t make it up my hill, asked me to call him back. Tried calling from 5 mins after his call, for about an hour… I saw him leaving town about 3 miles from my house hour and a half after his original call… Now I have to wait til Tuesday. Makes me wonder what he was doing for an hour and a half in my small town.
Yes, without batteries are shipped faster (if im correct)
Yes, seems to be all DHL
Yes, only USA right now, no European shipping yet, as said earlier begin January 2018 they will start shipping to EU
DHL Does not ship to where i live in the proverbial boonies ,neither does usps ,my light arrived in Tucson yesterday early in am and was shipped to my post office so i just came home after driving to post office to pick it up today which for me has been a record time ,last year I ordered a manker u21 and an acebeam 70 ,it went from dhl to usps in Tucson Az to elpaso Tx then to pheonix,to Tucson As back to Phoenix a d Then back to Tucson and finally to Sauhurita Az 10 days after reaching USA .
on a lighter note”pun intended”thank you BLF team to all your time and effort!Neal as well and lumitop!
UPDATES: It appears that the first couple of shipments are going out by region instead of the exact order in which we paid for cost reasons. Initial quality has been fantastic.
The first shipment of lights (168 total) shipped on Dec 23. This was a pallet going to the USA from the first 550th person on the paid list that did not include batteries. Tracking numbers went out on Dec 27 and lights started arriving to customers on Dec 29th.
A second shipment of lights (size unknown) shipped Dec 27. Location unknown. No tracking numbers recieved yet.
There should be a European order going out in January.
I’m sorry if I missed anyone earlier.
Coyotehawk will add everyone to the list on his next update. It will be early January when you will get a PM (personal message) and e-mail giving you all the details of where to go and how to pay.
I don’t think a driver schematic has been released. It was built by the member Del. Member Lexel is working on an aftermarket version in different sizes. I’m sure he knows.
