Careful here . I’ve kind of/sort of have some originality in the firmware, but certainly not all. I’m re-using some very useful code TK wrote, as well as others. It’s a blending, saves time, saves re-testing, leverages what’s been proven. We still need to add ramping, and this is hoping we can negotiate the inclusion of our own firmware into the manufacturing.

In total secrecy we’ve been planning for this light to collectively use up all the known lumens in existence so when we all turn our BLF Q8’s on Turbo together, the sun will stop shining and all other lights will go out because there will be no lumens left for them. Then we Flashaholics can take over the world without a fight.

Please don’t tell anyone of our plans, especially Chinese manufacturers who may then try to sneak Latticebrite emitters in the Q8 with less lumens and thus foil our nefarious but glorious scheme :rage: Flashaholics Unite!

the quad cells are very nice, have a Uniquefire 1401 on low to see how long it can run on 4 cells.
It is on for 158 hours straight now (every six or so hours I put it on high to see the cell level (saying 6 out of 9 now)

Little update here, 284 hours straight on. Just a little check on high every 6-8 hours.
And it says 5 on high now.

Since this last update it is saying 7 out of 9
Still on for 334 hours straight, but since I have seen 5 out of 9 I expect a voltage drop anytime now.
