ah, lol, missed that… I am interested. But how do these group buys work exactly? When the light is ready to be made, can i still decide to cancel? Do we pay in advance? ect… i do not see any o f this information anywhere…
Being interested (like you just did ) gets you on the interest list which gives no obligations. Once the production starts there will be information on how the sale is arranged.
The Miller, I’m 768 on the list.
Please put me down for 1 more.
Total of 2.
As was said above by slow2go, thanks for the work on this. It’s appreciated!
Welcome to BLF!
Wow lots of updating to do, done!
(for people at the now end of the list, there ae 8 users there not in a mass pm group, if 10 new users are on the main list I make that group, that is why there is an enter in the list, below that not yet mass pm grouped.)
I have also checked my previous Thorfire lights, 4 of, & found no CE marking on the boxes or manuals.
Mains powered items I have received from China are CE marked, although I very much doubt that most of mine are legit markings as would have to be done by a European manufacturer.
In fact I can remember a programme on Chinese fakes where when the CE markings were investigated on mains powered products they actually stood for “China Engineering” & not the European CE code.
Anyway I don”t think that flashlights require a CE marking & Thorfire must have sold enough lights into Europe to know what they are doing :+1:
Here's a summary of test results performed on the Prototype #3. Only mods done was to replace the strange green/blue tint LED's with V6 3D's:
Notice I have listed here the GA flat top cells, as they are mostly available. They do work, though I'm not confident there won't be contact issues. I tested the cells after the measurements and all read the same - about 4.15V.
