However, seriously, we are in 2017… do Bluetooth drivers exist? Like in that Mi (or any) wrist band?
So you can program the flashlight from the phone?

I already have a working proof of concept for programming a flashlight from a phone, but it uses the LED to “see” Morse code instead of using bluetooth. It only requires one tiny change to the driver, plus a bunch of code, and then it should be configurable by going to a web page and pointing the light at the screen.

But it won’t be ready in time for Q8 purposes.

Well, I just searched in Martin’s thread, and the last mention of a code for 30Q was in 2015! His codes are long expired now. Has anybody asked him about a (current) code for these?

The Banggood deal on those 30Q's is quite good, even just using the 4BLF discount - actually I just ordered a set yesterday.

$23.29, save $2.30 on the 9% 4BLF code, under $6 each for button tops, not bad.

Might still be worth waiting though - we should wait for The Miller to check.

Don´t you guys have any trouble getting Lithium Ion batteries shipped from China? BG and Fasttech are both cancelling any orders from Germany because the airlines will not transport them…. don´t know about GB at the moment, got some 18650s a few months ago.

Airlines do transport them. But the requirement to do it right is probably more then they are willing to do.
Probably dont work as mail as well.

Well I received a TN42 yesterday so a set of 4 matched cells that are good will find its place anyways.
But yes I want fresh new cells for the Q8 for sure, and hope they are shipped to France and arrive before or at the same time as the sample/prototype (China has three day holiday now o we don’t expect updats or news during that time, YA we can talk lghtning THOR mode again )

If BLF-348 had lo-hi modes, it would have been a hit. But it’s so hot it is not usable on 10440.

Well Gearbest did at least three runs on the BLF 348 and more important it looks and works great, it sure is a hit IMHO
