Yes sounds good, only measuring ĀµA can be a bit tricky with older multimeters.
My old one canāt, so I ordered the ANENG AN8008 , it can go down to 0.01 ĀµA (some shops have them for below $20).
Man, I donāt come here often and this is my fist new light in a while, but Iām EXTREMELY impressed. The UI alone is a massive feat, with so many features that I havenāt even attempted to try them all. I just regret not buying as many as I could possibly order at $40, thatās just an absolute steal.

Canāt wait for mine to show up! BG has the tracking number but I donāt know where to track themā¦. I even throw the whole number in google and tried each carrier. And none of them were correctā¦ Same thing goes with my MF01.
Expected delivery date are 10/23 for the MF01, and 10/26 for the Q8 But I have no idea where they are staying now lol
Not sure about the reward on that one but I did have one in FL about 20 years ago and that one was for 167Mph but I settled that one out of court.

I tested my production light and registered 20 ĀµA with the LED off. Given itās not a high end DMM and the variance is only 2 ĀµA, Iād say production is the same as the test sample.
With any luck 1 of 3 will land tomorrow. I got notification that it was on itās way from Dallas to my home town, so it should show in the morning as out for delivery.
Edit: That might be presumptuous of me, as there are multiple stock tanks and watering holes between here and Dallas it might want to check out on the way here. Weāll see. lol

You may have missed the point here. We know the driver draws 22uA, it was the brighter than normal leds that we were wondering about. Since they are so much brighter than the prototype, we were looking for someone to measure the combined drain to see if it is much higher than 135uA.
The Miller, (and the rest of the team as well) have you got any feedback from ThorFire and BangGood? Are they happy with the results? Frustrated with dealing this closely with such a critical group? It looks like BangGood is trying to find the right price point, I see it in the deal thread for $78 now. It will be interesting to see where they settle.

I went back and tested with switch LEDs onā¦ with a cell at 4.09V, I got 128uA. I am not going to top of a cell just to test to see how much higher it goes, but I wouldnāt expect much higher than 135uA. Perhaps others will test as well to give some more data points.
This is basically noise in the data, but for the heck of itā¦ with a cell at 3.35V, I got 76uA.
Just got mine today after 33 days from ordering it. I really like the ramp switch on it. A nice neutral lighting and it feels good in hand.
Thatās good news, the really bright switch leds donāt increase the parasitic drain.

my Q8s arrived on 30.09.17 in Hong Kong and until today they donāt move on. Anyone here experienced something similar?! I track them by 17track. I may be a little impatient but it seems quite long now.
Same here, tracking says mine left the operations centre and then nothing.
Donāt mind waiting if I see progress but to see nothing is worrying and irritating.
for tracking, I put the tracking number into google. google figured out what shipping company had my lightā¦
that being said, I got my light today! what a quality piece! the tip for the guy on ebay with the grenade pouch, that looks like it was made for the Q8. the tip about the batteriesā¦it was really a team effort and The Miller and crew really deserve more apprication than we can give them.
Well it is mainly talk about the issues now, and it seems Thorfire is impressed by people getting so much lumens out of their Q8 with things like spring bypasses.
At a later time we will do some evaluation and ask them what they thoughts are of course.
Banggood has little to complain I think. Customer support went through Tom and me and Thorfire for ~96% of cases, all but one.
That one doing the stinking right when the major players were on holiday. So while I thought that was a sneaky move, it of course made it not that noticeable for Swi and Marunce.
The timing of the pre sale start was ideal for them, a major deal fest, and the department they are responsible for got a lot of sales going since so many ordered during those first days, they scored points by highest management, which is good being new on their positions.
I wrote it in my ārules and FAQā topic, but it probably got missed by a lot of people. Swi and Marunce wanted to thank me for the work and I could choose any flashlight for max $200. I thought this not so fair so asked for a copper OL light for the whole team and some to GAW amongst BLFers on the list, but that was not possible and it would be insulting not to accept, so I choose the MF01, being a 10K+ light I thought it was smart to have to check for future projects like the Q16.
This asking for something for all did probably speed up the doing of the payment of the AFF link result so I could start distribute that.
But here as well, I will ask how they experienced it at a later time.

Mine said āLeaving The Shenzhen Operations Center.ā on 10/10 for a while, then last time I looked it said āArrived In Hongkong, Waiting To Fly Away.ā but that was also attributed to 10/10, but only appeared over the weekend - so even the tracking is slow to update.
