I got friends in Mission Viejo, just about due west from your new place. I love it out there - deserts, hugh forests, still lots of open land, mtns, etc. They got a cabin up by Big Bear Lake too.
Mt Diablo is ~400 mi north and west up near San Francisco.

That's not why I'm writing however.
The power went out for over two hours, which is the longest I have been without power in years.
And I was the only human/raccoon awake at my home.
I used my Convoy S2 on low, for a change, because I didn't want to change batteries.
When the power is out, an XM-L2 flashlight on low is still plenty bright.
Having no electricity was annoying, but it freaked out my Cardigan Welsh Corgi more than it did me.
I'll tell you one thing, though, I'm very glad to have BLF back!

Palm Desert is a nice area, i used travel there everyday for work. i just hate the drive there when it’s summer, up to 120+
wonder if you ever play with a short asian guy name Danny for the tournament? he used to play alot.

We should have a 26 foot (7.9 Meter) U-Haul in the next couple of hours.
I will probably not be on BLF for a few days.
I still have some packing and cleaning to do before tomorrow.
