The move went well, and everyone is safe.

Palm Desert has very clean air compared to the San Joaquin Valley.

I learned that the gigantic creepy spiders are actually scorpions and the really fast earthworms are baby snakes.

I haven't unpacked very much, and the days are really hot.

We now have satellite internet.

I have yet to set up our wireless router, so I'm using my mom's laptop.

I'm back!

You’ll need a UV light for those spotting those scorpions then. Glad it went well :slight_smile:

I bought a P60 UV drop-in several years ago, and it's finally getting some use.

So far I have seen 7 scorpions, of which I killed 5.

Luckily they were all outdoors and I had my Convoy S2 handy when it was dark.

They're creepy looking suckers!
