First impressions:
Shipped from: GearBest http://www.gearbest.com/led-flashlights/pp_5499.html
special price 11.39 with coupon UFL2CM
First thing you can notice is that’s solid and surprising (thank you Alcius)above the average construction quality.
It arrived with a thin transparent plastic cover on the frontal lense, and this is appreciable for a low budget item.
Modes and estimated lumens:
Switch type: MECHANICAL
There are “ 5 ” modes in the following order:
Hi – med – low – strobo - sos
My estimated lumens are 550/600

Weight and dimensions measurements (made myself, not by specs):
This flashlight weighs precisely 167 gr
Height 15,2 cm
Diameter 3,2 cm
Head diameter 4,1 cm
Construction quality:
Like i mentioned previously, the host is really well made but with a little exception….the tailcap threads don’t have a perfect equal diameter, so while i’m screwing the tailcap i notice there’s a little gab, but it does disappear once fully screwed.
Lanyard hole: PRESENT (two)
Threads came NOT GREASED, but this is not a big con, i used my grease.(mine isn’t an high quality one, but you can buy a top notch if you prefer)
Led Tint, reflector and lense:
The led is well centered and its tint is cold white
Reflector made of: SMOOTH – ALUMINUM
Lense made of: GLASS
Outside beamshot at 25 meters, only at FULL power (same place for all my reviews)
Wall beamshot at 250 centimeters, from lower to higher power (same place for all my reviews)
Ceiling bounce test with LUXmeter:
PROS:
- can use 26650 battery for longer runtime
- cheap
- well built for the price
- host heats up, so heat transfer should be good
CONS:
- not perfectly machined diameter of tailcap threads
- lumens output is quite good but there’s room for improvement
Final thoughts and why you should buy it:
I think that if you previously never owned a 26650 flashlight, this is a good first one to have
