Sanrenmu GB-702
What a neat little pocket knife , Locks open tight , very smooth action , extremely dificult to open via thumb stud [ grip panels are in the way ]
But for the price . Feels really nice in the hand , full length steel liners , the clip is super tight [ maybe to tight ? ] ..
I just need to see how good the blade steel is , but a serious thumbs up on this one .
Enlan Bee L01
The Bee is a lot of knife , its larger than it looks , has really nice heft [ I like that ] , full length steel liners , smoot - tight - and still easy to open [ very ergonomic ] , it locks open nice and tight . The clip is really nice , and the knife did not fail to impress . Again only time will tell about the blade steel
Both knives at first inspection seem to be just fantastic value for the money , and the only thing that could possibly change my mind is if the blade steel is just rubbish .
Sanrenmu 763 Update ...
This was my first SRM , and so far so good , but what has really impressed is the blade steel , While its not had a brutal work out , the steel so far has really impressed , it really makes a lot of the 440 Blades out there look like junk . In this price range , Sub $15 , these Chinese knives seem to just rule the roost ...
The only thing remaining is to see how sharpening the blade goes , while some steel seems to hold a edge , sharpening the blade can be problematic ...
It takes a good blade to hold a edge , yet also take a edge without developing a bur .
