I was going to use SFY55 for my DIY 46950/46120 flashlight, but then NBD160 caught my attention instead.
The only host that would fit the these massive emitter that doesn’t require too much modifications is Dongdonghai D8B, as it has option for 23mm reflector hole.
Unless you use forwarder or live in China it would be hard to find host like this
I would love to get my hands in one of those with that led! How much US would that host be with the LED and driver do you think?
He used the Cree CXB3590 (?) for that project. It’s a quite different led, COB and requires like 35 volts (but only 3 amps) to drive it. 11-13k Lumens, but you can get it in high cri and daylight cct (for hydroponics). This Chinese LED would stomp it’s guts out for output

That is with a fet driver, there seems to be 47mm EEX driver from Nightwatch which I think is a buck driver but IDK yet, only saw it through reviews.
That’s awesome and cheap for that much firepower (potential anyway). If only I had someone who would send me a tester…I have 46950 cells. This is like a NI03S on steriods. Maybe Neal will sell them eventually? He seems to get the obscure stuff from China nobody else who sells to the US can or is willing to.
