She sure does a lot of checking on database errors. That place had to be making some good money at one time. Good enough to hire a professional outfit to run the website.
Don't worry. As long as there are dollars to be made, CPF will be (sometimes) there. It may be less helpful and a years worth of posts may get lost, but it will still be there.
What kills me is a lot of people rely on the CPF Marketplace to sell their items, and at random times, the site will just be down. Pretty horrible practice.
I wonder if the High Priestess has ever partially refunded any of the advertising fees to those who pay for banners on the site. Not just for lost time, but also reduced views even when the site is occasionally online.
I'm sure these threads reflect badly on BLF it doesn't help to be seen as bashing your neighbours all the time, lets get on with the real business of talking about flashlights.
Let's move on guys, if you want BLF to be the best flashlight site this isn't the way.
Yeh, I started it coz i was so damned frustrated with the site since I started visiting it for quite a few years. Was going there to read one of Selfbuilt's reviews and for the 13,689th time the damned site was down. So, maybe I'm exaggerating by saying for the 13,689th time ....let's just round it to 13,000. lmao.. OK...made me sick now let's move on.
Burro, perhaps you didn't realize that you posted in the "off-topic chatter" forum? Or perhaps you disagree with the premise of such a forum? In any case, it's probably best to not take any discussion here too awfully seriously. There are plenty of other forums on BLF to discuss flashlights.
