I hope you are right and it would be crazy if we canāt get a GB on this going sooner or later.
And about the 4.25v, yeah it doesnāt last long, but it is amazing what a little extra 0.05v can give on an already maxed out light like a tiny IMR10440 DD driven light or the X6 triple with good already strong high drain cell. When you are used to the same old visual brightness from a fresh cellā¦ā¦then BANG a whole other level above that
Especially from these very limited cells like the IMR10440 seems to up the initial amp max a lot. And we haveāt seen a improved version for years now, so when you already have optimized everything else, led, heat path, wires, springs, drivers then there are only the cell left to take to the edge
That means that I can buy four Liitokala Lii - 500 for the price of one of these or five after the price goes up? Too bad my Rolex doesnāt have Bluetooth so I can control my charger with it.
They may have over estimated the appeal of this charger and were way too late to the market. There are just too many options at the $25-$35 price point now and the few added features donāt quite support the premium asking price. With all the other chargers I already have, this might be a neat toy to have around if it drops to $50, but Iām not spending $90 for bluetooth.
Wellā¦the bluethooth option is kinda good especialy if you can control the charger remotelyā¦.but the price will drop by Xmass time i think, Opus + clones are too good and only 31$
Those of us here at the time remember all the fuss over a flashlight that could be wirelessly controlled by Bluetooth with tons of parameters.
That went over real well now didnāt it?
Lotās of discussion and not a lot of sales.
Got old quick and then withered away. Once you pick out the settings you want, you never need to get all geeky on it on a daily basis.
Same, deal, lotās of hype on this new āDreamchargerā (Khrysler) ( Not on this forum mind you)
It will sell at $50 but not $80+
Even at $50, sales will flame out after the first adopterās get theirs.
Your voltage may vary
And Yes I know Khrysler is not the correct spelling, that is by design.
Later,
Keith
The idea behind that light was awesome. It had armytek and Zebralight moonlight modes. Unfortunately it would lose the programming every so often⦠And since it was android and Windows I didnāt have anything to program it on. I swapped the driver out for a lesser one⦠Wish they would have supported it further.
