Smallest 1X18650 light recommendation

Hello guys, can I pick your brains about what the smallest 1X18650 light you know of? I think I saw an ultrafire that was just a bit bigger than a P2D(which I carry now and is getting really beat up). A value one would be what I’m looking for. Thanks in advance.

I believe the smallest is the Palight V60, which I own, but the tapping UI doesn’t work very reliably. In fact, it doesn’t work at all in my sample. It’s not worth returning. Others have had better luck, however. Here’s the thread.

Thanks, can anybody please show any comparison pics with a P2D if you have them?

This one is also very light.

Thanks, that looks like a likely one for me. Would be nice to see more recommendations and suggestions.

$16 before 30th. (I ordered two)

Pok. That is one short light running a reflector. Do you know if protected batteries will fit. Its worth it if it does just for a host let alone a complete light.

I recently purchased some of these. And modded them with a xml U2 and a amc7135 3040a driver set to 3 modes l,m and h. About the lightest and shortest 18650 flashlight with a switch (if you prefer a switch) that I have seen. The head does not come off. The body and head is one piece. The only part that is removable is the tail cap. It takes long thin needle nose pliers to get all the way down the tube to get to the pill. Very light in the pocket for EDC.

Thanks pok, I couldn’t resist that £11.20 delivered? Bargain.

For the op, here’s another option that definitely takes protected cells.

However, with that special price on the light pok linked, I’d buy that now.

Thanks, that last recommendation looks best to me.

Glad I could help, its a nice edc, robust, good anodizing, I love it.

I just could not help my self, had to order two as well.
Its tough trying to kick this flashaholic addiction. J)

I have the Palight as well. It is small, and the tapping thing works, but its more of a tap than a touch. What works even better is if you have the head just unscrewed enough to turn it off - then you use your thumb to apply a little pressure to the head -you can turn it instant on, or cycle thru modes this way.

It’s a decent light, but I’m looking to sell mine to make room for some others. I’ll let it go for $20 shipped in the US if anyone is interested. —KartRacer31

The Shiningbeam S-Mini XP-G/XM-L may take the cake for smallest 1x18650.

How bright would you say it is please?

I was wondering this also. Looks nice for the price.

I wouldn’t want to put a number in it, I built mine from a host kit with an xm-l u2 and an ld-25 2.6a max driver. Bright enough is probably a fair answer, it warms up on high fairly quickly, as any small host pushing an xm-l likely will do.

Guessing, probably 700 lumens or so on high, but that is only a guess. It does give a lovely smooth beam and is extremely useful for its intended purpose, ie, a small bright pocket light that you can keep on your person at all times.

I love the sunwayman c20c that I have and it is one of the smaller 18650 lights I have. It's not really budget but the UI and output is worth the extra $$.It has a lock out feature for the side switch and sos and strobe are hidden.I hardly notice this light in my pocket and it's built tough,no regrets buying this one.Hope that helps.
