Sofirn SP10 Pro (AA/14500/Andúril 2) - now available!

Thank you…I hope they add 2700K or other leds

Have black coming from their AE store and red from sofirnlight.com. Both packages seem to be still stuck in China, longer than usual. Both bought on release day.

When did this happened (well, of course I've ordered one, how could I not..)

Joined this forum to say thanks to the people here who made this happen. TBH I’m not even a huge flashlight enthusiast with just a few lights but it’s awesome that this community can make products like this come to fruition. Already love my BLF LT1 and wish I could have snagged a 348 at some point. I look forward to getting the SP10pro and seeing what else you come up with in the future. Got this first run with the 5000k and considering it as a first mod with the 519a hype.

I haven’t tried a 519A yet, but it’s worth mentioning that the LH351D in this light makes a pretty nice beam. It’s a bit green for my taste, but then, so are all the recent Nichia LEDs I’ve tried. So I put a sheet of Lee minus-green under the lens, and it looks very similar to my old L3 L10 219B lights.

Ordered one of these yesterday, can’t wait to try it out! I’ll probably order another when the 2700K is released.

I’m debating about trying to transplant the driver into a HS05, but I’ll wait till my order arrives and make some measurements before I think too hard on it.

I'd order another one when they'd include a switch indicator light. I can swap an emitter myself, can't say I can add an indicator led in the switch though.. :| It's a shame they've decided to go without one from the start..

Ordered one Green SP10Pro from Sofirn Official Store on Ali Express, using a discount code from Jackie’s post. The price comes down to S$27.03, including free shipping, or about US$20.

Later on, found a cheaper price on Shopee SG. Sofirnlight SG is selling it for only S$25.99, including free shipping from China, or about US$19.25.

All four colours (black, green, red, and blue) of this new model are available.

It seems interest in and demand of this new small flashlight in Singapore is not that great.

then it will probably work better with 519a domed, than dedomed… (and probably not so well w 219b, which is more like a dedomed 519a)

.

519A is close to the BBL at low current and goes under at higher current, much better than the ”gooď” LH351D bins.

agree, 519a is less green than LH351d. Also 519a is a 9080 LED, the LH351d is just 9050. So 519a has better Tint and better Color Rendering than LH351d.

And since the 519a is larger than 219b, it means 519a gives a better beam in reflectors that work better w LH351d than 219b, such as the V11r, and possibly also the SP10 PRO.

It is sounding like the SP10 PRO reflector may not produce as good a beam profile w Dedomed 519a… as with DomeOn.

Does anyone have a beam profile photo (the whole round beam against a wall) of the SP10 PRO w stock LH351d? Im looking for a smooth transition in the spill, without a shadow ring…

Probably very similar to the SP10 V3 which is shown in these photos:

The V3 has a nice beam indeed.

Btw, fingers crossed they didn’t glue these…. have a few Sofirn manufactured lights where they went completely overboard with the bezel glue, especially the Wurkkos branded ones. A nightmare to get open.

Having a lighted switch indicator on a AA/14500 light is like an invitation to get it drained fast, and to add even more complexity to the - eventually - already complex management of dual chemistry working.
So I guess it is not a shame, but a good thing they didn’t include that, otherwise we might be surprised with empty cells when picking up the flashlight.

Yet, Sofirn only uses a system where the indicator LED only stays On for about 5 seconds after powering the light on.. Which would be a nice addition to Anduril itself (and if I'm allowed to dream even further, Anduril would be even better should it had an option to have all the menu blinks configurable to either the main emitters, or on the RGB Aux lights exclusively - imagine you also have the colors to play with, not only the blink patterns - also less "light polluting")

They showed up at Sofirn’s Shop at Shopee Thailand. 3 colours available. 599 thb (US $ 18) for light without battery, 699 thb (US $ 21) for light, battery and charher kit. Magnetic tailcaps 45 thb (US $ 1.35). There’s also a coupon for 45 thb off, so the tailcap is ‘free’.

Aaah, should've gotten the red one with the black switch button.. :|

Oh I see, not a switch indicator for having it lit on while the light is on? Not sure how useful it would be, at least for finding the light purposes, but I see it.

As for the red / green / black versions, the red and green also seem tp have different tailcaps, right?
I may need to jump in the wagon for these after all  :innocent:

EDIT: checked the images on the site and they seem identical :+1:

@MascaratumB, my take on that picture is the black has the magnetic tailcap while the red and green have normal tailcap.

I’m glad I ordered red with the black magnetic tailcap, (separate). With that black button I think I can pull off the magnetic tailcap being black… If not it looks great and I’ll just go without a magnet.

Oh, I see it now! I didn’t notice there was the possibility to get the tailcap separate. I’m just starting to check Sofirn stores to see whats available.
Thanks for the heads up
