SOLD: Olight S10 MELD with R, G, B, W, and UV!

SOLD thanks to all!*

Hi Guys,

I’m selling a few lights so I can fund some exciting new flashlight projects. Up for sale is an Olight S10 that I’ve modified with my MELDv2 driver and LED board, and it’s running MELD firmware version 2.13. If you haven’t seen my other videos, check out this demonstration of the firmware:

(note: this video is demonstrating the firmware on a different light—not the S10)

This light was my EDC for about 6 months, which means 2 things:

  1. it shows plenty of wear
  2. it has been proven to be extremely reliable

So don’t expect to get a pretty, scratch-free light, but do expect to get the most full-featured EDC light you’ve ever owned. Here are the specs:

LEDs:
Cool-white XB-H main emitter
Red, green, and blue XQ-E color emitters
Lux UV 405nm ultraviolet emitter

Driver:
MELDv2 driver hardware
Runs from primary and rechargeable cells (converters are buck-boost for color and SEPIC for white)

Battery life estimates on primary cells:
Max white: 30 min
Min white: 13.9 days
Min red: 5.2 days
Standby time, no beacon: 5.7 years
Standby time, beacon: 2.8 years

Drive current and lumens:
White: 1.4A nominal. Measured 230lm OTF
Red: 330mA
Green: 200mA
Blue: 250mA
UV: 250mA

Features:
smart momentary
ramping
configurable primary level
locator beacon
output any color
RGBW disorientation strobe
ultraviolet
lockout
battery voltage measurement
inactivity timer
infinitely variable strobe
…and many more, check out the video for everything

Because of the wear and tear, I’m pricing this at around half the cost of a new S10 with MELD, at $100 even, plus $5 for USPS priority shipping (or your choice of other shipping service). Paypal only. First “I’ll take it” gets it. I realize I’m fairly new here but I have had transactions with a number of BLF members who can vouch for me if you have any concerns about buying from a guy with <100 posts

Thanks for looking!

Can without a doubt vouch for tterev3. I'd buy this if I had not just blown stupid money on a much less equipped light. Good luck with your sale :)

Thanks buddy!

Seconded

Is this to fund what I think its for?

WOW! First off, where did you come from?! Taking the flashlight community by storm ;)

First time reading about MELD and seeing it in action. This is really amazing. I honestly had to stop some of the way through the video because the amount of modes and options is just overwhelming, but it's awesome that you built software and hardware that allows users to get exactly what they want out of their light. I'm a typical basic 3-mode guy (started living on the edge by tossing in off-time and turbo, ha), but recently I was thinking of doing a 3-up build with different emitters just to have some fun writing the AVR code. But I'm giving up on that now after seeing what you were able to accomplish. Thanks for crushing my dreams!

p.s. Are you PilotPTK reincarnated? :)

whatever tterev3 said about this light, it’s better than that! I am a proud happy owner of this offering as well. And can also without a doubt vouch for him. Absolutely astounding ‘tiny’ light with 5 emitters and a UI from another world!

Bump for what is surely a very sweet custom light made by a highly talented and nice guy.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone!

Yep, I just started a thread on the new project: Project EMERALD log! (SWM F30R mod)

Bump for a member that has given so much to the forum in his short time here.

Will your Meld system work with my S15 Baton? If so, my light is brand new and I would like you to do it. I will send you a PM/private topic. The idea is absolutely fantastic

Bump, because I saw his SRK build and invited him here, the guy is an absolute GENIUS and has contributed so much to the community here in such a short time

Mediocrity knows nothing higher than itself, but talent instantly recognizes genius.

If I had the money…I would buy one of these in a hearbeat!

Consider your S-10 sold.

It’s a pretty sweet light. I’ve been carrying mine everywhere since I got it, and it really does just about everything. The only significant downside I’ve noticed is that the PWM on white is pretty slow (~500 Hz, I think) so if you’re sensitive to that it might be an issue.

I’ve been meaning to do a detailed review, but I got stuck with 14+ hours of work per day right around the same time I got the light, and though that’s starting to calm down lately I’m way behind on a lot of things. A review usually takes me a whole day, and I haven’t had one of those in a long time.

This light is the most amazing light!! I have not figured out all the modes yet but all that I have found are great. If you folks want a flashlight that will do everything for you but make coffee, this is the one for you. WOW!! That is all I can say. Wow!!

Yogiboo only speaks the truth.

damn! I missed this beaut!

I wouldn’t sell mine at twice the price, if it wasn’t replaceable.
