Supbeam X60 exceptional group buy: 100 units required but the price is sweet!

Dear X60 fans,

Due to negative feedback from many interested guys regarding the Madness campaign price, and a lot of wait-and-see, we are moving to plan B. We also realise that for many people this is still a lot of money, so for this time we have decided to offer a unique, once in a lifetime deal to celebrate the new Supbeam X60:

We are going to work with a coupon: you can purchase a coupon that gives right to a X60 kit including a 6-set of 18650’s.
The coupon is sold for only 200,00 EUR including 21% VAT (or 165.29 EUR excl. VAT), excluding shipping.

As far as I know, it’s going to be 2600 mAh Samsung 18650. People will have the chance to upgrade to 3400 mAh for +/- 20 euro’s, if the deal goes through.

Coupon validity:
For the deal to go through, we need 100 coupons to be sold by November 5th at midnight.

If we don’t reach the 100 coupons, the deal will be cancelled and you will get a full refund within 3 business days on your Paypal account.
It’s more or less similar to what Groupon does, only without the middle-man (Groupon).

Only Paypal payments will be accepted, to facilitate the refund in case that the deal doesn’t go through, but also to eliminate fraudulous orders. Paypal guarrantees 100% security for your purchase.

Can I count on you guys to spread the word? 100 units is a lot and every bit will help to reach this goal.

The counters start at 100 available coupons/vouchers, available for purchase on www.supbeam.fr/store
We will also accept orders from our friends outside the EU, but the shipping prices are a bit higher. Buyers outside the EU will not pay VAT, so the offer will be around 225$ + shipping for them.

For those who subscribed to the X60 group purchase, there will also be a little small present to go with the X60, if the deal goes through.

We will open a Facebook page by the end of next week, to show-off a sample of the X60!

The only conditions that you shall keep in mind and transmit to others:

  1. The lights purchased through this offer shall not be resold and are for personal or professional use only!
  2. If you miss this opportunity, don’t come waste our time asking for the same discount. Such requests will be ignored.

You can direct any questions to sales@supbeam.fr

PS: We don’t earn a single cent on this promotion, so we hope that you can become our ambassadors and promote our brand through this promotion, as much as possible!
Do not hesitate to share this offer on forums and on social media. Most forums don’t allow us to do this, so we need your support.

Great news!

Hi Vittorio - welcome to BLF… Nice to see a new European outlet for lights. Your links don’t work (you need to be careful about spaces when making links).

Yep, link doesnt work. but I found the website anyhow.

Unfortunately the Dutch (NL) E-Shop doesnt work yet..

Thanks for pointing out the link issue.
It should be resolved now.

@ChibiM: You can access the dutch version of the webshop through the above link and by selecting the Dutch flag.

Thanks again.

Bedankt.. t werkt nu!

Thanks.. it works! but if I go HERE and click on E-Shop, it shows in English, not dutch....
I think you could replace that link with the correct Dutch language one directly, without having to click on the dutch flag on the top.

That makes sense, because they would see the right language directly, without having to still choose for the dutch language

just an observation!

Those are nice news, but looking at the prices it is still much MUCH cheaper to order directly from Hong Kong!

For example: X40 is ~175€ - ~30€ VAT (my country is not a member of EU so VAT is subtracted) + ~62€ for shipping :O

that would be 207€ in total (or about US$270)

Ordered directly from Hong Kong it would cost me about US$165 - US$175 (shipping included) delivered in 10 days, full package with warranty.

Sorry, I really like Supbeam but this price policy is massive fail.

Sirius, please be realistic

please keep in mind that local dealers are usually more expensive than HK sellers.

There are many reasons for it, but also keep in mind, that for some EU shoppers, especially in the Benelux region, the "local" dealer is nice to have, and don`t have to send it to HK for any warranty service etc..
Or language barriers with CS.

Again, the dealer is mostly concentrating on the BE NE LUX, so its possible that sending to other countries arent the cheapest..

I`m glad there is someone picking up the job in Belgium.

Edit: to stay realistic...... it only cost 5.40 EURO. to send to the BElgium NEtherlands and Luxembourgh (however you spell that)
With the coupon it will be 144EURO for the X40

nothing to complain there....

Sending lights from the US is also expensive

Its OK to be a little more expensive but who is crazy to pay 100$+ for faster (shipping) warranty issues resolution or english speaking CS!
They are promoting themselves as Europe distributer when actually they mean Europe Union distributer, because shipping to EU is about 15€ - 18€, but then again, there is no VAT excluding so total cost for X40: 192.41€ (~US$255)…

Again, it’s nice to have EU retailer, best luck making that business work…

Quote: Urban Technologies Benelux has recently launched the Supbeam brand in France and Benelux, as the official distributor for these regions. We also cover orders from other regions of Western and Eastern Europe, where no local official distributor is appointed.

They don`t promote themselves as EU distibutor, they are mostly concentrated on the BE NE LUX including France.

Selling stuff from/in a western country is usually more expensive than China..
Never seen the complaints of the Canadian buyers\seller with selling/buying from the US?

So I wouldnt call them expensive, because they aren`t concentrated on your region. Keep things in their perspective.

They are a BE NE LUX distributor

Dear Sirius9, thank you for your inputs. ChibiM, thank you for taking the time to explain.
Sirius9, what is your location? You live in Europe but not the EU? I can try to see if the shipping cost is displayed correctly for your country.

The prices we offer with the budgetlightforum discount are very interesting for people living in the regions we serve.
Shipping to our neighboring countries, that is to say, France, Germany, Luxembourg and The Netherlands is less than 10€.
For the rest of the EU, shipping is in most cases less than 20 euro’s.
For people living in these countries, it will be cheaper and faster to order from us than from Hong Kong or anywhere else. Besides, in the above mentioned countries (except Germany), we or our dealers handle all the sales.

We also handle after-sales locally, hence cover return expenses and warranty support locally. This results in a good after-sales support and a reliable purchase for the customer.

Outside the EU, unfortunately the shipping becomes expensive… we’re not really happy about it but it’s outside our control.

@Kreisler: we’ll take your offer under consideration, thank you very much.

I appreciate a discount code, but why are the lights more expensive since yesterday? The K40 and the X40 cost 25€ more!!!

did anyone call me?

good old dinodirect times, i luv it!!

Congratulations on the new shop. I wish you all the best in your new venture.

+1

And to Supbeam, dont mind kreisler/dinoboy..

@Supbeam_France_Benelux, @ChibiM
sorry, I didn't want to be a party pooper here, I admit, for selected EU countries this might be an interesting alternative.
Also I made a small error, I forgot to include promotional discount, oops .

But I was realistic, unfortunately my reality is a bit different: I live in Serbia (which is not a member of EU) but since shipping estimation doesn't work for Serbia I tried selecting 2 neighbour countries:

Case 1: Hungaria (about 120 kilometers from me), member of EU, estimated shipping 17.42€ (also havet to pay VAT)
Case 2: Bosnia and Herzegovina (about 100 kilometers from me), not a member of EU, estimated shipping 62.32€ (doesnt pay VAT).

judging on this, price for me would be about US$230 (VAT excluded, discount included), unfortunately...

Anyway, it seems that there is a glitch in "Estimate Shipping & Taxes" option: when I select country and click "Get Quotes" new window with this option shows up:

  • Zone 4 (Weight: 1,300.00g) 62.32€

but when I confirm this by clicking "Apply Shipping" main page shows: Zone 4 (Weight: 1,300.00g): 51.50€ (so, about 11€ disappeared somewhere )

Cheers & all the best

@MRsDNF, RaceR86: Thank you very much, we will do our utter best to offer the best rates so that everyone can enjoy a good, high-performance light, without resorting to a financial catastrophe.

@Sirius9: Thank you for your information and for reviewing your point of view.
We’ve made some changes. Please have a look and tell me what you think about the shipping and the price after discount.

I appreciate your comment. We’ve indeed had a special launch promotion running for the past 2 months. We believe that we have provided sufficient opportunities to purchase the products during that promo.

The good news is that we will continue to offer special prices to flashaholics, through targeted promotions such as this one here on budgetlight (which will get you more than said 25€ in discount). There will be similar promotions on other select forums as well.

ok, I have checked and now X40 is much more interesting  thanks

My personal encountered:

Supbeam sales rep list:
Bella Chen,Cora Sun, Amy Xie, Steven Zhang, Chris Huang, Hellen, Alice Wu…… they could
be some one hiding behind which I don’t know.

Beware of Bella and Amy, they are dishonest! They try to make profit from the shipping
cost. Bella told me X60 (3.5kg) shipping cost to my country is $49usd with FeDex, it can’t be so expensive, I argue with her, she ask me to use my own courier. The next day I asked Chirs, he told me $38usd only.

Amy is bad, my friend bought K40 from her, she charged FeDex $38usd while it should be $26 only, since my friend don’t mind about it, I just keep quiet. When he received K40, the item looks old, used item, the “Stand by Strobe” was bleached!
